Driver helped me put the wood in a pile in the back of my condo. I tipped him an extra $20. So worth it to have the wood stacked and to have a fire in the fireplace on these cold nights! will be ordering another 1/4 cord soon! highly recommend.

Yes, this is the way a firewood business should work. We've all purchased firewood that disappointed us before, either because they claimed it was seasoned and then you go to light the first fire and it just smokes, or because the wood is all weirdly sized pieces and bits of stump...ugh. Well, here's the way it should and did go: I called, they asked how much and what type of wood I wanted, they gave me a precise day and time for delivery, and I got exactly what I requested at the time they promised it. I actually lit a fire that very evening using the wood and it was beautiful. Fessenden, you are my permanent wood supplier!

They had lots of different choices of firewood and they delivered. It was good hardwood and it was a quarter of a cord. They were 40 miles away from my house over the bay and I went with them because they were an "A" company.

The quality of the wood is great. Their service does not include kindling. Delivery means dumping the wood in your driveway - we had to move all of it to the back of the house ourselves. Would have paid for the extra service but they do not offer it.

Prompt, courteous, professional. Seemed a bit pricey, and didn't include any kindling, so the firewood is hard to start.

I have purchased firewood from Fessenden in the past. I have always been happy with the quality of the wood delivered, and it has always showed up at the time promised. I will be ordering another half cord from them tomorrow. Perhaps I should rate them as an A, but I'm a tough grader.

Very prompt delivery, we have used them before and are very happy with them. Nice delivery, courteous and conscientious of overhanging trees with truck. Not the cheapest, I don't believe, but good wood.
