+ 0 moreWe looked at what seems like every other possible mattress, from TempurPedic to organic, and left each store puzzled about what we really wanted and/or could live with. It felt like we were headed for a compromise solution that we didn't really want. Just walking into European Sleep Works was a pleasure. The staff is very patient, very knowledgeable, great at assessing how each mattress type fits the individual. There was never a question in our minds that we were buying the right mattress for us. And the delivery people were awesome - on time, fast, careful, and polite. The price of the mattress system was comparable to other higher-end mattresses we looked at. We also ended up buy new bedroom furniture through them (bed frame, dresser, side tables), made by Vermont Furniture Designs, which brought the total price up!
Description of Work: The sales staff at European Sleep Works is amazing - it is by far the most soothing, low-key, and informative place to look for a mattress. And the mattress we bought is just right.

+ 0 moreWe had previous repeated problems with Sleep Train. Their mattresses lasted only 2 or 3 years before they developed sagging and it seemed clear that this was a case of planned obsolescence. So we decided to try European Sleepworks. The sales staff there were informative and not pushy. Their products looked and felt good and there was the attractive feature of being able to adjust the support for maximum comfort. The price was much higher than what we expected from our previous dealings with mattress companies, even considering the "special" nature of their products. However, the big problems started when we got the set home and tried to adjust it. We simply could not find an adjustment that was comfortable. Calls to the dealer brought no satisfactory result. They declined to send someone to work with us on the adjustments of their system. Instead, the manager kept suggesting other settings of the support under the mattress on the phone. In frustration, we finally gave up on the adjustments and bought a 3 inch foam pad to put on top. In short, the bed and mattress was too expensive and did not live up to promises and expectations.

+ -1 moreSeveral friends raved about mattresses so I went to try myself. Needed a softer mattress. tried everything in the store to find the right one. Salespeople are helpful. Delivery was great and they took my old mattress away for recycling.
