Dan Chin's Auto Service

I have used Dan Chin's for 20 years and have always found them to be trustworthy, very capable, and decently priced. Lovely people and good service!!!

I trust Dan Chin to do basic auto service on most cars. I would go to a tire shop for just new tires and if I had an exotic or rare car I would try to find a specialist rather than Dan Chin. Mostly I chose Dan Chin because it was convenient to my work location in Berkeley but over many years I found them always trustworthy, and that can be difficult to find in the automotive world.
Seems a field below called Home Build Year is required for this review. I don't know what it has to do with auto service but I put in 2000, as the year of the Chevy Malibu that was serviced in June 2011.

We paid about $400 on that last job. Everything with them went well. We have gone to them for a long time, so we trust them and we like going to a place where you can trust them and they are definitely trustworthy.

Their work is more expensive than other places but they are more thorough. I do not get any unpleasant surprises when I get home. They know what they are doing and I pay for it. They are very punctual.
