Mike came by and walked the property with me, explaining the health of the trees and how to further take care of them. He then gave me an estimate on pruning a few trees that were growing onto the house as well as the removal of an old, dead tree ($90 / man hour)
I called them the next day to take them up on the offer and they came by a few hours later, finished the job with a few guys in under two hours and cleaned up everything perfectly. Very happy with their service.

Aesthetics were important and also the health of the trees.  Everything was done as specified in the bid.  The team doing the work were very polite punctual and professional.  They left the place very clean with all debris removed.  They came in under the estimate  so I was charged less than originally specified.  Not many companies do that.  Further, the estimate was given in man hours per item.  I could then evaluate if I thought something was a 3  hour job or not.  I was also given the hourly rate so that I could extend the estimate to total dollars.  This is so much better than just getting costs per task.  I am very pleased with the outcome and will certainly use them again.

At first I was a little nervous because the lead on the job didn't seem to know exactly what he was supposed to be doing. But all went well once they got started, and both trees look really good now - well pruned and showing new growth.

This was the third company I got an estimate from, yet the only company that took small jobs. I can't remember the name of the man who did the estimate, but he was the only person who could tell me about the aphids on a tree, and how to deal with them. It's pretty obvious the owners care about their employees. They seem to cultivate their workers entrepreneurial spirit, even if it means moving on to start their own business. Wow.
I was very impressed by the team who showed up, literally smiling and waving. I was thinking one or two people in grubby work outfits. No, this was five guys in  work uniforms. I had a certain level of expectations based on the previous reviews, but this company exceeding those expectations. The workers were very polite, did the work very quickly, and cleaned up my backyard very nicely. The work was better than I expected it to be.

I dealt with Michael, and from the get-go it was obvious he knew what he was talking about.  Showed up promptly for the estimate.  During the estimate process, he educated me a great deal on my fruit trees (and my new vegetable garden - bonus!).  While they were not the lowest of the estimates I received, I felt most comfortable with Michael's knowledge and concern for not only the trees, but my wishes, as well.  I called back to make the appointment and was happy to find out they could do the service the next week, while I was on vacation.  When I got home, my trees were beautifully pruned, just as we had discussed.  AND, they had saved all the ripe limes from the pruned branches, put them in buckets and left them for me at the back of the house!  I have a couple of trees in the backyard that need to be shaped up in the near future.  I will most definitely be calling them back for that.

We continue to love the job Brende and Lamb does with our trees.  They do incredible aesthetic pruning.  We appreciate the care that goes into our Red Maples and our large oak.  I think the best example of how good their work is, our neighbor used them the following week they finished our house based on how our trees out front looked.  Their work was their referral. We like Mike and his crew and always seem to get them when we have work done.

They did a fine job. The price seemed fair for the job.

They really know what they are doing. The work is excellent, the crews professional and they clean up meticulously when they are done. Our trees have been thinned out so you can see through while being shaped wonderfully. The trees close to the house have been pruned so they are not problematic to our gutters.

Setting up the appointment for the estimate and the tree pruning was quick & easy. Blaine Brende, a certified arborist, came out to discuss project and then prepared the estimate before he left. The crew showed up right on time and did a fabulous job, pruning and thinning five trees. They were efficient and quiet and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. Both neighbors even expressed how good the trees look and how fast and quietly the crew worked.

Easy as pie. I called up, they send an arborist out the next day for an estimate, they came out the next day with a professional crew of four people, were in the trees, out of the trees, cleaned up and gone in about an hour. My trees look great.

I'm extremely pleased with the results, of course; but the willingness of the foreman to do this little job (2 hours) was the best part. He checked with his company first and then told me he'd be back when he finished down the street, and he did! Then, instead of leaving me with half a tree, the workman pruned it so it actually looks nice now.

The service itself was outstanding. They did a quick, professional and beautiful job pruning and thinning our trees. They also did some deep watering and feeding. My only negatives are the prices and the length of advance notice. As for the pricing I did not receive estimates from others so I cannot comment on the value. However, just from my own perspective, these services are not cheap! Also, we ordered services, but due to their big backlog of jobs had to wait more than a month before completion.

I had walked the neighborhood looking at work done by Brende & Lambe; they put this on the back of the flyer they mail a couple times a year. These properties looked just as I wanted mine to look: naturally beautiful. Over the years, some of my trees had gotten chopped or clunky looking. The crew came ready to work, did their work with no drama or damage; and the artistic parts were done by a man who really does have an eye for beauty, and knows how to produce it. They also very kindly advised me on the escallonia that I'm trying to prune myself. This was a very low stress experience for me: no worry, no fear of being taken for a financial ride, and perfect results. I will definitely call them again in two years for the hedge, at least. It is a work in progress.

They were great. They sent somebody out to do an evaluation and he told me the approximate amount of time each job would take. Their employees were good and they had good managers on site. Most of their employees have worked for them from ten to fifteen years.

We had a terrific experience with this company. Our trees look beautiful. The team from arborist Blaine Brende, project manager James, foreman Lucio to the crew were informative, professional, and very efficient. Blaine came to our house for two visits/estimates providing us with the necessary information on the safety and aesthetics of huge trees that hadn't been pruned for decades. He was courteous, informative, welcomed lots of questions, and resourceful. James was efficient and personable in setting up the crew and helping me ID who to contact in the City Tree Division with specific queries. The foreman and crew were hardworking, detail driven, and worked well to create safer and more beautiful trees on our property. They worked professionally with our neighbors in cleaning up felled branches and were informative for another neighbor concerned about safety issues. They do great work and great customer service at a premium price but worth it to us given the scope of our work.

THE PERSONNEL ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARE INSURED AND CAN BE RELIED UPON FOR DIFFICULT JOBS. THEY ARE RESPONSIVE AND EASY TO DEAL WITH.
