When we purchased our home in Kensington, we knew we needed some remodeling work but we didn't realize how big the job would be. We were very happy that we chose Berkeley Craftsmen. Mark and Mike, the two owners, treated the job as if it was their house and worked with us very carefully on the design. The emphasis was always on doing the job right. Whenever a new surprise came up, they carefully redesigned the project to fit our needs. By the time the project was completed, we had rewired the house, rebuilt the downstairs into a beautiful office, installed sheetrock where there supposed to be some, replaced the windows and doors, rebuilt the kitchen and bathrooms, and put on a new roof. Everybody on the Berkeley Craftsmen team was thoroughly committed to doing an excellent job, and we felt as if they were family. You may find somebody less expensive, but you won't find anybody better.
