I last used them to fix something that somebody else started and did not get it right. They did finish it up, but not quite like I thought. Generally they are pretty good. They are professional. The workers clean up after themselves and are professional.
Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating came in with lowest bid. But the reasons I chose them were different: they inspected the site the same day I called, came up with an alternate route around huge retaining walls, and hired landscapers to trench the ground, avoiding the roses. Job completed and inspected within 48 hours. You can scarcely tell where they trenched. They are honest, quick, smart, and very professional! Kudos!

But everything else was difficult. It took 3 months of visits (every 2 or 3 weeks) to fix a faucet: an initial repair that didn't work, a follow on visit, finally a faucet getting replaced, and then replacing that faucet because it didn't meet expectations set. Follow up calls (to select a faucet for example) were promised but never made. I always had to call and track someone down, and usually multiple calls.
The initial faucet they put in did not meet the expectations set. I spoke to Albert on the phone, and he quite reasonably agreed to replace it and do a partial refund. When the plumber arrived a week later, he had no idea that such an arrangement had been made and spent 1/2 an hour on the phone trying to track down someone who did. They never did reach Albert, but did replace the faucet for free, although I never did receive the partial refund.
They also tried to sell me a "premier customer" service for a monthly fee. Which, obviously, seems pretty absurd.
