Office reception is prompt, courteous and helpful. Suzanne answers the phone and schedules the appointment. I only had ants in the kitchen. I was quoted $100 to treat the kitchen, but the work was not warrantied; $150 to treat the entire home with a 2 month warranty on the work. Suzanne describes their treatment as odorless, and said we could stay in the home during treatment, just not be in the room when it was treated. They treat all base boards and you have to have the cabinets under the sinks emptied. She gives you a window of time for service. The technician Aiden arrived within the designated time frame. He was very courteous, but he contradicted Suzanne on a couple points. First he said I could not remain in the house during treatment. Second he stated I needed to remain out of the home for 2 hours after treatment. He said I could go back in the house earlier but that he was required to give me the 2 hour vacate premises time frame. He spot treats the baseboards, and applies a chemical around the exterior of the home. He says he does not apply any chemical on counters, closets, nor on the kitchen linoleum. I gave him a tip in the hopes that he did a good job. The exterior treatment is supposed to last 8 months. They cannot retreat for at least 2 weeks after the intial treatment. Upon returning to my home 2 hours after treatment I noted an alcohol smell and some other odor that I couldn't place. Despite airing out the house and running fans I had a headache for 24 hours. After 24 hours I could not detect any odors. There were no ants for a couple days, then over the next several days we saw as many ants as we saw before treatment. There were also clusters of dead ants. The ants became so bad (still only in the kitchen) that we eventually scheduled a second treatment. Aiden arrived for the second treatment about 40 minutes late. At least 20 minutes of that time he was in front of my home on his cell phone. He did call about 2 minutes before the end of the service window and said he would be 20 minutes late. This time Suzanne had instructed me to remove the electrical wall plates in the kitchen as well as empty all cabinets under the sinks. Aiden treated the outside then came and only treated the kitchen. He didn't treat any of the other cabinets I emptied. I don't know whether or not he did anything in the electric outlets. Although I was permitted to stay in the home this time, I could not be near the kitchen during treatment and it wasn't clear if anything was done with the outlets. When he was done I gave him a tip. Curiously after I gave the tip he said he had additional treatment to perform outside. I don't know if he would have done this if I hadn't tipped him as he had already clearly stated he was done and was packing the sprayer back into his truck. I left the home for 2 hours and upon return aired out the house. I had a mild headache for only a few hours even though I tried to avoid inhaling any of the chemical. It has been 1 week since the second treatment and we have not seen any ants.
