Quality Installation Services

I got the company's contact info from a kitchen/bath showroom. I called after checking the company's reputation on Angie's List. My call was returned at the end of the day. Costs were explained to me ($250 for removal and $100 for haul away) and I scheduled an appointment. The company's owner Miles and a helper arrived on time. They also called 15 minutes before their arrival. Both men were very careful with their work. For example, they put a sheet of plywood to protect my floor, and they kept an eye on the water line as they pulled out the refrigerator. Miles was friendly and also very knowledgeable regarding refrigerator installations. Knowing that I plan to put in a regular unit instead of another built-in, he measured and warned me about the space, outlet location, and water line condition. He also explained some solutions to these problems. Overall, I'm quite happy with his work and definitely would recommend him.

Called several companies for a quote - Miles had the lowest one (by $200-300) and could do the job quick. We scheduled the work for the following week.
Found out my dishwasher wasn't going to be delivered until the afternoon the day of the install. Called Miles the evening before (around 7 p.m.) to see if there was any way to change our install time block from morning to afternoon (we just had a window when they would arrive). He said he couldn't reschedule (understandable, but annoying since I had to have him come back to install the dishwasher and was charged a $75 travel fee for it - and I paid an extra $100+ for the dishwasher so it would arrive the day he said they would be there). The fridge we ordered did not fit the space (it was defective) and so we ended up having to send it back and re-hook up the new one ourselves anyway. This was not his fault, but when others have installed appliances for me they have taken all of the styrofoam, tape, etc. from the appliances and cleaned them up. I had to unwrap everything in the fridge and clean all of the handprints/etc. from all of the appliances.
A few weeks after install, the microwave hood didn't seem to be working right, so I called to re-schedule the dishwasher and get the microhood checked. He was scheduled for a Tuesday but called late on Monday and said he was in the area and could he stop by. I was home so he did his work on Monday - but we had someone else at the home doing work on the water line which interefered with his work on the dishwasher install. He seemed annoyed by this (even though it wasn't his scheduled day to be there). He did hook up the dishwasher, and checkked out the microhood, but said it just didn't have the same power as our old one - nothing he could do (which was true - not his fault).
We had originally quoted for him to install our new stovetop as well, but after everything else we did not ask him to do this for us.
Good prices, just not a people person in my opinion.
