He was the original builder of the home 23 years ago and he came back to do the work. I spent $80,000 on that remodel job. I liked that everything was very transparent and he was very honest and up-front on any the schedule issues such as when they were starting and stopping work. He was very helpful in getting his wife involved to help with questions I had about color, style or anything of that nature. He was open in showing me his house and it was really very, very helpful. He did a lot of the work himself, however the roofing and exterior painting was done by sub-contractors. They were all managed by him and from what I gathered from talking to these guys, they were all long-standing sub-contractors of his.
