Kitchen Remodel
Stay away from this contractor Will promise you heaven and deliver hell. Hired Daniel for my kitchen remodel Immediately asked for money besides the customary deposit He needed money for the kitchen cabinets he said When It was time to order the kitchen cabinets we were told he didnt have the money to order them 5 minutes into The job and his guys already damaged my fridge It took them 4 weeks to complete the foundation on a 104 sqft addition Neighbors told me that when they showed up the workers were to busy drinking and talking I can go on and on about the lack of craftsmanship and respect they showed Should have fired him on the spot Filed a claim with the contractor state license board for lack of craftsmanship and abandoning of project and his bonding company after he decided that there was no more money in the project for him and did no longer show up Daniel told me he was going to file for bankruptcy Just want to protect potential customers so that they dont throw away there hard earned cash Luckily I have a background in construction otherwise this would have been a total waste

"I want to start off by saying we have been in business for 13 years and completed over 150 projects. We are still actively completing projects. We have had no claims against any bond companies. We have 5 star ratings from our customers and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. Working with Paul: This project with Paul was a terrible experience for me and my crew. We did everything possible to try and keep him happy. Paul is a frustrated do it yourself person. He has done several projects in his home without permits that should have been permitted. He didn't like the fact that he had to hire a contractor to get the plans and city approval. He was constantly trying to tell us how to do our job and was almost always wrong because he is not a licensed contractor and doesn't know building codes. Paul had little understanding or patience for how the construction process works. He was constantly arguing with us and with his wife and pointing out how he could do everything better. He and his wife took turns yelling at us on a daily basis. This was a major construction project. We had to build an addition and seamlessly fit it into the existing home. We did all that. We had completed everything including all the finishes and cabinets except the backsplash tile, some electrical work and cabinet adjustments. We couldn't complete the electrical, cabinets or tiling because we were denied access to finish. Minor things happened during the project but nothing out of the ordinary. It is not a perfect world and problems occur. As they occur, we take care of them. Paul's expectations are unrealistic and he is being vindictive because he thinks he is justified about construction expectations. He has also ruined my reputation on Angie's list by giving me a .5 rating when my other ratings are 5 or 4.5. He is also contacting my bond company and the Contractors State License Board. He has no basis for filing any claim against us and I'm considering getting a lawyer and suing him for defamation of character. Sincerely, Daniel Purinton Purinton Designs Construction"

Dan just completed a perfect remodel of 2 bathrooms in my home I was out of town entire time. He is reliable and trustworthy in his crew is absolutely top notch I would absolutely recommend him

Good experience with Dan. I am a little bit cynical about contractors, but Dan did what he was asked for the agreed upon price, and even made a few extra modifications that improved the end product.
