Job description: one area of the roof was leaking and needed to be re-roofed a second area of the roof needed to be re-roofed (preventative) The job was completed in a reasonable amount of time (two afternoons). I especially liked that they communicated with me about all aspects of the repair and were very professional.

Randy was very helpful and knowledgeable during the initial estimating phase. He helped walk through various options and issues up front. His bid was in the middle of the three I received but I believed he delivered the best value since the system he recommended gave a longer manufacturers overall warranty than just the shingles.

His crew all seemed very experienced and knowledgable. There were a number of things with how the old roof was done that weren't the best and were surprises to them as they got into the job. They fixed those errors and did things the right way and did a very nice job. They cleaned up the site every day and made sure that any marring on walls, driveway, etc from the old tar/shingles was cleaned up.

The job started on time and ended on time. Afterwards I called about a minor issue on the roof (some stucco repair materials had run down a section of the roof). It wasn't very noticeable but Randy had someone out immediately to wash down the roof section.

Overall we were very pleased with the quality of the job, the promptness, the people who worked on it, and the look of the new roof.

We got several estimates for roof repair. They were fairly similar, but these guys were the most thorough with fixing all the little things that have accumulated since we moved in. While we can't really know for sure how things went, they were punctual and took care of all the things on the contract in the scheduled time.

I called Bay Area Re-Roofing for repairs on my house in San Mateo. Randy was very understanding and accommodating to respecting my tenant's work schedule since repairs were being done while she was there. Randy did not try to sell me a new roof but patiently explained what needed to get done. He explained that the roofing tiles used were starting to decompose but he only replaced enough tiles while repairing the buckling sections to make my roof last another few years. Randy's extensive experience and knowledge about roofing is amazing and his crew did a great job. When it is time to re-roof the house I will definitely be calling Bay Area Re-Roofing again.

The work was done quickly and they cleaned up each day before they left. I would use them again.
