RM3 Construction would have received all A's if it were not for a few problems (which is to be expected on such a large project). We were living on the front lawn, so they got us back in the house fast. However, once we were back in the house the remodel dragged on for a long time. The price was by far the lowest of our bids. In fact, it was so low that I would have chosen a different contractor if it were not for a strong recommendation from a friend. I appreciated that RM3 did not charge us outrageous additional costs for change orders. They did, however, calculate the foundation costs incorrectly because of a change in the codes and asked for us to help with the costs, but they did not demand it. The quality overall was good, but there were a few things that annoyed me. For example, building a deck over the dryer vent and over a large dirt pile that would have caused water to pool up against the house during a heavy rain. There was a problem with RM3 paying the stucco subcontractor. I eventually payed the subcontractor directly and deducted from the balance due. Customer service on the warranty was good. We've had a few problems since the remodel was finished, and they have been promptly fixed. Cleanliness of the site was an issue at times. They would let piles of debris build-up, and since my family was living on site, it became a hazard. Overall, my home looks beautiful and I would hire this contractor again.
