GORDON TERMITE CONTROL INC

I am the Property Chairman for Hope Lutheran Church and Schools in Glendora, CA.  We had a graduation scheduled to occur.  I received a call from our school secretary in the morning, informing me ants had entered our parish hall....where we were having our scheduled graduation.  It truly was somewhat of an emergency.  I called Gordon Termite and explained our plight.  This was truly a last minute request with no time to schedule.  Mr. Gordon, the owner, came himself!!!  He checked the area and eradicated the ants. He also checked another area for termites while he was there.  School staff said he was very kind and explained what needed to be done and completed the necessary work immediately.  He was too kind and donated his service to our church and left them his card.  This was a kindness I frankly don't often see.
I had used Gordon Termite for my home in the past and didn't know who else to call.  Great job then, and incredibly professional service now.  Thank you Mr. Gordon.

Victor came to our home and examined our home and outbuildings. They found a couple of spots on my eaves and the attic. I found them to be honest, in that they only identified limited areas. My wife has many allergies. We didn't want to tent and have to leave our home and bag food, etc. Victor explained the Borate process and provided a DVD to explain the process. He also answered all questions we had. With Borate, they must drill holes, pencil lead size, into the drywall between the studs, to inject the solution into the wall. Victor told us we wouldn't see the holes when filled as our color scheme was off white.
We choose the Borate as it was harmless to humans based on Victor's comments and my own investigation via the internet. The employee who came, I apologize for not remembering his name, was methodical, professional and hardworking, not taking any breaks....which I have found to be a rarity. The holes were filled, and we can't tell where they were.
They gave us a 5 year guarantee. The process was simple and we would use the again. For those interested, as this is most important to my wife, I also checked, and noted they had the appropriate license and insurance.

We have used Gordon Termite in the past with good results. This time, we received an extremely thorough, thoughtful inspection, and a lengthy, detailed report. Several options at different price points and using different methods were outlined and explained over the phone. Follow-up was thorough. We plan to have them treat the house when time allows.
