George's Custom Cabinets

George was recommended to us by our contractor, as well as another company. George's quote for custom cabinets was actually LESS then our quote for semi-custom cabinets! George seems to take great pride in his work. We have worked very closely on each step of the process, from initial design, color, hardware, and extras like glass. He has worked with us on price, and helped us see where we could save money (smaller molding, glass doors) and where we should spend extra (soft-close hinges). The only negative is that he is not very computer savy, so it times it was difficult to communicate back and forth. But he figured out how to text images, which made things go a lot smoother :) All plans were hand-drawn, which was difficult for me at first because I'm used to computer illustrations and plans, but it has worked out just fine. There were also several times when he told me something couldn't be done (such as fit everything we wanted into our kitchen island, or fit a corner cabinet on our bathroom counter) but with some persistence on my part, and a little problem-solving, so far I've gotten everything I wanted. George did a great job, and we look forward to working with him in the future.
