About us

The store was started as an exclusive Maytag® appliance store, with a product line limited to wringer washers. Throughout the years, Maytag® developed other washers, causing our store to grow to accommodate the other appliances, including electric washers and dryers, fridges, electric and gas stoves, and dishwashers. In addition, the company offered repair services for the available appliances. Eventually, we brought in other brands to serve the additional demand and provide a larger selection. As the economy has changed and large box stores grew, we have remained as a pure appliance store, providing our customers with the "mom and pop" atmosphere. Now the Bellflower-Lakewood Appliance Center is a family-owned-and-operated business that always keeps your needs first.

It went so well. He (Pete) was professonial, knowledgeable, and did quality work. Now our refrig. works without leaking and we can shut our washer without slamming it!! :) Will call if need services again!!!!

Our refrigerator sounded like it was a 747 getting ready to take off. Apparently a previous appliance repair company (not this one, and not one on Angie's List) used incorrect parts to fix the same problem, a worn out fan, about 1 1/2 years ago. The technician from Bellflower Lakewood Appliance Center, Peter, was very prompt and courteous. We will absolutely use Bellflower Lakewood Appliance Center again, and we highly recommend them.

Arie was pleasant and explained the issue before the repair was approved. He cleaned the lint from inside the housing after it was opened for the diagnosis, and left a neat work area when he was finished.

After checking Angie's List for a local appliance repair outfit, I called Bellflower-Lakewood Appliance. My call was answered immediately and I was informed they could fix a drop in stove top. I made an appointment for the next day and Pete showed up within the time allowed. He was professional and diagnosed the problem of my gas stove not igniting as the spark module needed to be replaced. Since our stovetop was 20 years old, he said he would have to check to see if he could get the part. He called me later that afternoon to tell me he could get the part and the price and assured me I would not have to pay for another service call. Two business days later he had the part and replaced the old non-working part. I was very pleased with the speed of the service, the professionalism and friendliness of Pete, the repairman. I definitely recommend Bellflower-Lakewood Appliance Center.
