AAA PLASTERING

Tom Blankenship is the president of AAA Plastering. They used stucco while plastering the house. They were recommended to us and we liked their work. They gave us a very detailed estimate. It seemed like they were very detail oriented in what they were going to do and how they were going to do. I felt that the price charged by them was reasonable, as I didn?t compare it with any other company. I would hire them again in the future, if needed.

He was applying plastering. I was not quite in love with him. He came out for the job himself originally. Then the work was actually done, he couldn t come himself. He just sent his crew. They weren t detail oriented. They were messy with the Stucco. They got it all over everything. I had to talk to him about it. They cleaned it all and that was good. I wasn t pleased with them. The price was competitive. He was pretty responsive.

I was very happy with their quality of work. Of all the bids, they came in $3000 under the rest. They did an excellent job. They were very punctual. We had a misunderstanding about the time of the inspection that was required. They had to stop work to have the scratch coat inspected and then were able to finish the color coat. The guy was nice to work with because he was so agreeable and he and I both understood that it was neither of our faults and it was just a misunderstanding. It ended up costing me a little more money due to the misunderstanding but it was worth it.

Was told they would be here only 1 day but showed up a day early to do repair work and mask windows, doors - they had called the day before but I was traveling and did not get the message until after they arrived. Crew showed up on time day of stucco work and worked most of day. They did trample my plants quite a bit in the flower beds. I had offered to trim things back but they said I didn't need to, but I wish I'd ignored them. I'd asked for a smooth stucco finish but they gave me a more textured surface than I would have preferred. They also stuccoed the neighbor's garage wall that faces my yard, although I hadn't asked them to do so.

I CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE FOR SOMEONE TO COME OVER AND GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE. THE OWNER CALLED ME THE SAME DAY. HE CAME THE NEXT DAY FOR THE ESTIMATE. WE SET A DATE FOR HIS CREW TO START. THEY CAME WHEN PLANNED AND DID A GREAT JOB.
