The job was simple: three sheets of glass [two walls and a door] for a new shower enclosure in a bathroom remodel. The design was much better than any of the other quotes we had, and the general look of the final work was great. We paid for all three panes of glass to have a hydrophobic coating on them. When it was delivered and installed, only two of them had the coating. The owner of the company had absolutely no interest in fixing this. Every time I'd email him, he'd say "it's covered under warranty from the coating manufacturer" - that may be true, but at that stage it was, as far as I was concerned, a job that he didn't actually complete despite us paying for it. I was even trying to help out and ask him for paperwork which would show it wasn't his fault, but he couldn't be bothered to mail that to us. In the end, after about a month of trying to get them to fix it, I had to reach out to the coating company, who graciously mailed us a bottle of chemical so I could apply it myself. Unfortunately, that means it has a 3-year warranty instead of ten, but what am I to do? Bottom line: This company didn't deliver what we agreed upon and paid for, and had no interest in fixing it.
