The movers worked endlessly for about five hours. They were both willing and helpful and could not have worked faster, harder, or have done a better job. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a mover.

"Yes, it's true. In California movers are required to charge double the drive time between the two moving distances. This prevents taking advangtage ot the customer so they don't get charged to drive to their place and then back to our place plus the drive to the new location. It is a way to protect the customer. the guys were on time, professional and helpful. they wrapped the furniture for protection and and even though they had to negotiate a narrow stair case with tight corners, go everything moved in and set-up with skill. they did a really fine job and i would definitely use them again!

Initially, we thought everything was OK, but then noticed many scratches on the furniture and a broken lamp. The driver was very forceful about giving him a good review through the company, which I did initially. I tried to get some help with the items that needed fixing, but to no avail.

The service was great. They were on time, took good care of our items, and finished the job in less than half the time we reserved them for. They were polite and efficient. I would use their services again.

It went okay. It was a positive experience. We're actually late and they waited for us. They were quite good about it. It was a 60-mile move. Two people came out. We didn't have any problems. The pricing was fair.

Excellent service! Showed up on time and got started right away. Finished within the time frame. They used their own equipment and made it a smooth transition. Polite guys and it went great! These guys took half as much time as the previous move into this place!

Great job! I purchased their deal on Angie's List and of course within two days they called me to review and schedule my move.
Sterling arrived on time to the Covina townhouse where my son was ready and waiting. They secured and loaded my property with the professional that I expected and were on their way to the Lancaster house where I was ready and waiting. Upon their arrival, the movers inspected and assessed the job.
The tool chest went easily into the garage, but the challenge came with the entertainment center. It was to be moved to the second floor media room at the very end of a long hallway. The turn at the top of the stairs seemed to be their biggest challenge of all, yet they were very careful and successful. The entertainment center pieces were uncovered and placed in the exact spot that I wanted.
I'm very satisfied with the service that Sterling provided and expect to use them again for future moves. I highly recommend this company for your local moves....

It took about 6 months to get the pickup of the piano in Arizona scheduled because we don't live in AZ full time. But, once it was scheduled, the driver, Mark, arrived exactly when he said he would in Arizona which was perfect as we had arranged with our home watch people to let Mark into the house. Mark arranged the pickup with our home watch people personally. Our home watch people said that Mark took great care wrapping and labeling our piano pieces in AZ.
Mark called us 5 days before he arrived in North Carolina and gave us the day and a time window of when he would arrive. He called the morning of arrival to confirm when he would arrive and he arrived exactly when he said he would. We watched as he personally unloaded, unwrapped and set up our piano which arrived in great condition.
We chose Sterling due to their very positive reviews in moving pianos. However, we were concerned initially about going with Sterling because it is a small company with few trucks. When you have a small move with a ride share van, you never know if your items are being offloaded into a warehouse to await a ride to their destination. But, we were happy to learn that Mark, who picked up the piano in Arizona, was also the person driving the truck across country and would be setting it up in our home in North Carolina. And, the piano once on the truck, never left the truck. We were given almost a month's window of when it would arrive in North Carolina after pickup. It was picked up on 8/20 in Arizona and arrived in North Carolina on 9/11, 4 weeks later. We were given a time window of anytime between 9/4 through 9/30 when the piano could have arrived. Overall, we feel we made out really well.

The men who came to pack the piano, which is a fairly involved process for a grand piano, did an excellent job - very professional. It was apparent that the lead person had a lot of experience with this type of instrument and they were extremely careful and thorough in the process of preparing the piano and wrapping in protective covering. This is at least the 4th time I have had my 90 year old baby grand moved and I believe this was the best job I have seen. The piano left Connecticut and arrived in California in great condition. I would highly recommend Sterling movers for piano moving and would use them again.

I wasn't sure I would be satisfied when the movers first arrived. I purchased a 6 hour/3man/1truck package for the $595 deal. I was told they would estimate how much time it would take when they first got there but the moment they walked in they started looking around and pointing out little things that were "going to be a problem" and would likely cause the job to go well over 6 hours (estimated 9 hours).
After standing around and talking about things for a 1/2 hour I finally took control and started directing how things should be moved, and by whom so that the move would work more efficient. Ultimately we finished the entire move with over an hour to spare - with the standard double drive time included. They worked hard once given some needed direction and, after being given direction, things went smoothly once we started moving everything out of the apartment. They were careful and there was no damage to any of our things.
One major disappointment: the deal says you can add an extra guy for something like $15/hr however, when you call to do this they will tell you that it means you have to add an extra truck as well which jacks up the cost much more than $15/hr.
I really more "undecided" on whether I would use them again.

These guys are amazing. Very professional and more important, very friendly. I moved my office two buildings over and they made it so easy. I HATE moving!!!!! However, when people are professional and have a good attitude, it makes everything much more enjoyable.
