Salvador is meticulous and absolutely trustworthy. Over the years on several projects, he has worked very tactfully and patiently with my wife, who always has strong ideas about the design and color of everything. He always showed up when he said he would. Didn't keep us dangling with a stretched-out schedule, but completed everything quickly and efficiently. When something wasn't exactly as my wife expected it to be, he adjusted it unitl it met her expectations... at no extra cost. He is a good man who cares about the quality of his work and the satisfaction of his customers. Bonus: He's a nice guy with a ready smile who is calm and steadfast... unflappable! Results: On all the projects named above, the results were structurally strong & well-built, as well as beautiful. Salvador is picky and wouldn't leave until every last detail was up to his standards. On each project he hired assistants who were experts in their particular trades and assured that they met his quality standards. Here's the deal: I'm his first Angie's List recommendation. I predict that as word gets around about the quality of his work and his comparatively low prices, he will be swamped with work! So sign him up while you can! Sal is the most irresponsible contractor that I have ever seen. He is extremely sloppy and wasted a lot of concrete. He also spreaded concrete everywhere and we had to clean up after himself. He refused to cut concrete joints according to contract specs. He asked us to buy protective plastics and cardboards for protecting walls from cements when concrete is poured, but he did not used them. Not only did he damaged our brand new smooth stucco walls next to concrete being poured, he somehow outdid himself by damaging stucco walls that are not far away from areas that he was working on. It is true an unbelievable irresponsible contractor that I have ever seen.
