Horrible experience.  There was a 7 week delay in laying a single tile due to poor subcontractor choices.  Fired that one and then the next tiler did a really bad job.  1/8" grout lines are not bad, but the 24" tiles are not flush; they should be like glass.  Installed damaged tiles instead of using those for side pieces that would cut off chipped corners.  About 20% of the floor tile show damage due to poor handling, and sloppy installation.  Shower hot and cold were installed backwards.  Brand new vanitiy wall was not plumbed, then they tried to tile over a warped wall.  Had to remove it all and realign the wall.
Guest shower had to be reworked 4 times.  One West did not want to move the shower controls because the plumber had already floated the walls - had to rip out and do again.  Water ran out under the glass door because the floor was not pitched correctly.  Ripped out and done again.  This made it worse.  We had to hire another tiler to rip the floor out again and move the drain so the floor could be pitched correctly.
Baseboard installation is the worst I've every seen.  Didn't even try to align the board detail.  Just slammed them on and sanded off all molding detail to make them "flush."  I have to remove and replace.  Filled nail holes with silicone which can not be sanded smooth.
Lied to us about material availability to cover up a mistake they made.
Did not pull permits as the contract stipulated so all my electrical/water/sewage has not been inspected.
Left my A/C on high in 100+ degree heat with all windows and doors open - every day after I repeatedly said to close it up.
Broke a window frame and screen using my window as a disposal chute, then hid the broken screen thinking I would not see it.
His worker was trying to get me to hire him directly to do even more work on the house.  Fired him.
Lied to us about doing one job at a time to stay on track.
Patched walls were not primed so now all the the texture comes off when you touch it.   
This project should have taken about a month.  They started fine on the demo - that all went quick.  He refused to adjust his schedule to meet with us to review errors and needed corrections once things really jumped the track.  One mistake after another caused the project to last 6 months until I had to fire him off the job.  He's a typical contractor who is nice to you to get the job, and his workmanship is awful, and his credibility is worth nothing to me.  He will never touch my house again.

The initial call to One West construction was returned promptly by the company owner, David. Arrived next day for estimate, and the day after a workman came and completed all tasks. The workman was amiable, knowledgeable, and worked efficiently. When finished all debris was cleaned up and removed from the property.
One West handles major remodels to minor household fix-its. The Company Mission is to be a one-stop service provider and I would not hesitate to contact this firm again. An additional benefit to establishing a relationship with One West is there are several workmen on staff and I feel I could access help within a reasonable time frame.
