Beethovens Estates

I cannot begin to tell you how impressed we were with Beethoven Estate Liquidators who we used to move my mom from California to Texas. Mike and Jeff did an outstanding job with detailing the specifics of the sale process with our mom and kept us in the loop at all times. They came a couple of days before the sale in the morning to set up, display and price everything. When we returned to the house later that afternoon, we could not believe how perfectly things were grouped and displayed in the house, garage and yards. They advertised on Craig's list as well as in the local Hanford newspaper. In addition, they placed Estate Sale signs on major streets leading to my moms house on the first day of the sale. On the morning of the sale they arrived on time and we left the house as they advised. They had anticipated a two day sale, however, we were notified that 99% of the items sold that day. No need for a second sale day?. The entire estate contents sold for more than expected which was a nice surprise. Whatever did not sell was picked up by a local thrift job they contract with which was a big plus! Exceptional experience with an exceptional company!

We needed to dispose of an accumulation of over 50 years of family possessions in Fresno (we live out of the area) and contacted Janet and Mike.  At our first meeting they assessed the contents of the average-sized home, including a garage and work shop, and thoroughly answered all our questions.  We signed a contract (Beethoven's fees were a percentage of sales), and the week before the sale they and their helpers priced, organized and staged everything.  We arrived in town the day before the sale and were amazed at how well everything was presented--it looked so much more attractive than an ordinary yard/garage sale!  The morning of the first day, more than 25 people were lined up before the doors opened, thanks to Janet and Mike's extremely well-done newspaper ads and their web site (beethovensestates.net)--which included photos of many of the larger/more-valuable items for sale.  Although we did not have to be on site during the sale, we checked in periodically each day and were VERY pleased by the numbers of shoppers and the helpfulness of the six people representing Beethoven's.  They knew how to negotiate sales while maintaining the good will of shoppers.  After the sale, Janet and Mike wrote a check for our share of the proceeds, contacted a non-profit agency to remove the remaining unsold items (probably less than 1% of the total!), and returned to the house a few days later to supervise the final clearing of the property.  We could not be more pleased with the professionalism, dependability, trustworthiness, politeness and savvy of the people associated with Beethoven's.  Their knowledge of this type of service is outstanding, and they delivered everything--and more--that we expected.  It was such a stress-free experience for us.  Wish Angie's List had an A+ rating--Beethoven's would get this grade from us in all categories.
