I called for a slow draining in my bath tub. Oscar came and he snaked the drain. He then asked if I wanted a camera inspection, (FREE) and I said yes. They said that my sewer pipes needed to be changed, which I already knew needed to be done and I had already been given an estimate from another company. Byron, the supervisor came and gave me a very good estimate. The entire team was so helpful, professional and courteous that I gave them the job and I do not regret it. I will definitely call them for any further issues. The job was completed in less than two days. Great Job!

Description of Work: called at 8am to have my water heater checked out. They said a plumber would call me when coming to my house. 2 hours later no call. I called back and they said the person I talked to forgot to follow through with the plumber. Sad.

We had a leak which was the supply line with angle stop that feed into the toilet from the wall. We decided to put in a new toilet since our old one was over 22 yrs. old. We already had the toilet and just needed to have it installed. Mr. Rooter sent out 2 "plumbers" to do the job. They put in the toilet and when I asked how things were going with the installation, one of the plumbers said the supply line is still leaking and that he did not have a new one with him to replace but that he would fix it so it wouldn't leak. I asked him how long it would take to get the part and he said it would be a while, like at least 40 minutes and then he would have to drive to get it and then drop his partner off and blah blah blah. He was lazy and did not want to go get that part. I should have pressed him to go get it but instead I gave him the benefit of the doubt to fix the existing supply line. Well, they finished and he showed me the work and that it was not leaking and when I aksed how long this supply line repair will hold, he told me it should hold for a few years. I knew he was lying. I felt in every bone in my body. So, a few hours later, I go upstairs and notice water on the floor by the back of the toilet and I felt the supply line and sure enough it is dripping water! I called Mr. Rooter back the very next morning and they sent the same guy out again. He fixed the supply line / angle stop and charged me $220.00 for it even though the previous invoice stated that the work he perfomed the day before had a 3 month warranty against leaks. Him and his silent partner leave and 30 minutes later, my daughter went to use the toilet and it wouldn't flush! I called Mr. Rooter right away and they were going to send this guy back over. Thankfully I called my husband also and he said to check and make sure there was water in the tank of the toilet. There was not. So he told me to turn the angle valve and that did the trick. Why didn't the plumber(s) check this before they left? Idiots! And then a couple of hours later, I walk into my garage and notice they left the hose inside the garage turned on after they used it to clean up after their "work" and it leaked all over my garage. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN OR THIS BRANCH AKA JOHN MALCOM PLUMBING DBA MR. ROOTER. Oh and I got this referral online from a compay called PLUMBING NETWORK OR NETWORK PLUMBING.....Never again.
Description of Work: Toilet installed and on the next day, the supply line with angle stop had to be replaced.

As of the posting of this comment... My family's house is still without usable toilets for nearly 1 month. After the work was "finished" we called their servers 12-15 times to come back and finish small matters and more importantly recurring problems with the new system backing up and unable to flush toilets. To the crew that was onsite - I have to say a couple of the guys were honest and admitted to me personally that the quality was off. Up until the matter escalated the manager we were assigned was just "okay." But then turned a bit wonky. During one of the last visits we allowed, the field manager insinuated that my family did not know how to use or were misusing the toilets. His comments also indicated that - we "should not" run a shower and flush "a" toilet at the same time. The technique that they used was to cut open the existing line where the DIAMETER is designed to work with the house - then INSERT an ABS pipe down the middle. Thus eliminating the further need for excavation and reducing costs. Once the primary work was complete they join or seal the Bigger Diameter pipe to the newly inserted pipe with a gasket and clamp. The OLD pipe crumbled and the plumbing team avoided reporting this to us until the next day where, of course, a new more costly solution was tabled. This NEW solution evolved injecting an epoxy resin BETWEEN the OLD and NEW pipes. Once hardened then the seal could be attempted/made. This part of the work ultimately plugged up part of the system that connects the main drain line to each toilet AND also plugged up the ventilation (vertical pipes to the roof). Thus creating back ups and low performance. As a result, and we are not able to confirm this, they removed some part of the mail line and re-installed. However, the result is that on 12/8/2010 the drainage system specific to the main line is not fully functional nor upgraded. We have emailed a letter to the attention of the Malcom Family (3 in total) who are the licensed contractors of record AND the owners. No one has responded to us. As a result, we are in the process of engaging another plumber or GC, the payment for their "service" has been halted and litigation is pending forthwith.
Description of Work: Old house, 1950s build had aging main drainage line. Hired Mr. Rooter to INSPECT (paid) then ESTIMATE the effort needed and make the best recommendation to replace and upgrade the entire drainage system under the house.

Before even asking us for any information they flushed the toilet and it caused an overflow to go everywhere. After this mess we told them to leave and they tried to dispute us not having them fix the repair.
