I found them through a magazine. It’s a really neat system that I got from them. Gale Banks has been doing performance diesel stuff for 50 years. So, they know their business. They build race cars and all the diesel engines and stuff like that, which is pretty amazing. The product is essentially a tuner system. It basically tunes your engine for optimum performance. They made the parts that I bought from them to have another company put on my truck. I never had to speak with them. I bought the parts online straight from their website and there was no hassle. I used my credit card and they shipped the stuff. I spent about $2000 for their stuff. I really would have liked to have a little more contact with the mechanics and the actual tech that did the work on the truck. It would have been kind of neat even if he could have shown a demo of the work after he did it. Those guys know a lot more about it. I have to read all the manuals to try and catch up and figure out if I am doing the things right or if I am doing them wrong. I would have wanted to have a little bit of time with the tech. I got an e-mail with my tracking number and I basically followed the parts all the way here with the tracking number. I basically interacted with the computer and didn’t really talk to a person. The parts were easy to find because they were specific to my truck. I didn’t have any trouble finding it on their online store. So, that makes things really good. Their check out procedure was painless, straightforward and easy. It seemed very secure to me. I didn’t hesitate to put my credit card in there. Their overall experience was based on their professionalism, quality and reputation. They are pricey, but their quality is really good. Their equipment is really top notch. I have seen a lot of their other installation on other cars and trucks. I have seen a couple of their cars at car shows. Their equipment is the best you can buy. Gale Banks has been in racing forever. The installation was straightforward and I didn’t have contact with them at all. I didn’t have to sit around and wait for it to be delivered. It was here in like 5 days and it was very reasonable for me. The package was almost 60 pounds with the torque converter. It’s pretty good to have it shipped so fast. It was coming from California; so it didn’t have to go very far to reach me. The order was placed within 24 hours and I had the shipping checking number. Their website is very professional looking. It makes you feel like it’s a professional company. I would definitely go through their site in the future. They have the stainless steel exhaust system for my truck that might be worth looking into. So, I am thinking of upgrading to that. I am definitely considering purchasing that and that’s probably another $1000.
