The new door and frame look fabulous.

They are short handed these days. Once we sat down and ordered them, he was pretty good. We went there 3 times and I finally said I want to talk to someone who knows there stuff. It seems like they do not want to bother with you unless you are ready to order right then. Some of the employees could learn the product a little more. We found one that was pretty good but they could do better. I would say just find someone who knows what they are doing there. Not everyone knows every department.

The guy came out, he spent a good three hours here going around measuring all the windows looking at everything, telling us you know why it was gonna cost, giving us the options all the way down to the t.

We love the door. They told us the doors would arrive in 3 – 4 weeks time, but it took 2 months. Masonite was the name of the company and their shipping got delayed. Home depot should have called us to inform, instead of me calling them to find out the reason for delay. I think they need to follow up with their customers. They need to be more diligent towards customer service.

They have unbelievable stuff from big cats to largest A frame ladders. One names it and it is there. One can even get a whole truck to load the stuff. They have fully equipped agricultural machinery and also for construction. They are the no. 1 in this area. They are very well staffed. They have a specialty department. We live in a bay area and living in a country we have whole different needs. They charge around $200 for scaffolding around 5000 square feet. If it is a big cat and we can bring it back within 4 hours, then it is about $80.

I have been pleasantly surprised by my recent dealings with Home Depot. I used to dread interacting with them in any way more complex than buying a package of screws, but they seem to be making a big effort to improve their customer service. Kevin, the kitchen designer in Auburn, was great -- spent hours with me when I went in the first time to select cabinets and make the basic design, then again with me and the contractor (I used my own contractor, not the HD installers) to make modifications and select the countertops. The cabinets and counters went together smoothly (with the exception of a couple that were damaged in shipping, not HD's fault, and which I worked around). The new kitchen looks beautiful!

They were on time and professional. The doors look great and I will use them again.
