My laptop failed suddenly. I took it to Computer Addiction for analysis and repair on Friday. They said it would be ready the next morning. Saturday I went to the store and nobody was there. I returned several hours later and still nobody. Monday I waited for a call until 4:00 PM then went back to the store. They told me the problem was a bad motherboard and they could not fix it. Charge $45.00. They asked if I wanted the computer returned in pieces or reassembled. I asked for reassembled and got almost all of it returned. They had not reconnected the wireless connector and had left out 2GB of RAM. I went back the next day and they returned by DRAM card.
I was later able to get the motherboard repaired using an online service. The people were friendly enough but the service just wasn't professional.
