California Craftsman

My wood construction duel front doors had developed cracks and rot and needed replacement.  California Craftsman came to my home and measured the opening, then helped me select a new Entry Door System.    This door system is very large, measuring over 8 feet tall and 6 feet wide  I selected a custom exterior fiberglass  door system.  The end result was beautiful ad I was very satisfied.  After the first winter the door had warped.  California Craftsman arranged2ew to have a new door system to be installed at no cost to me.  The new doors have survived the first two winters with no signs of any problem.   The carpenters did a great job  with the new installation. 

This comapny was recommended by my window manufacturer to replace broken glass in one of my windows.  They were not very responsive as I had to keep calling them for status every few days.  When they showed up to replace my glass, they did not have a ladder that would reach my second story window which I had clearly described to them on the phone.  I had to borrow a neighbor's ladder so that they could complete the job!  I do not recommend this company.

Bi-fold door was installed on time.  It looked nice that day.  However, it is not well insulated and does not close tightly on the 'man door" end.
 
Most importantly, the bottom of the "man door" section began to split and peel within three months of install.  The supplier and dealer tried to balme this on me (homeowner) when any person looking at the door would see that the multiple defects are due to poor quality.   I am now finding it impossible to get with California Craftsman or Art Glass to respond.
Incredibly poor quality, responsiveness, and service.  I would not recommend any interaction with either California Craftsman nor Art Galls Millworks.
