Auburn Euro Motors

I trust them with everything. They are a little bit expensive but they are honest. They provide very personal service, they are very knowledgeable, the mechanics are topnotch, they are very trustworthy and very knowledgeable. I was new in the area and I asked somebody at the gas station where they went for service and he told me about them. They are a little more expensive than the dealership but its a local business and I afford it.

I get things in the mail from them from time to time. Actually it was my wife who had the direct contact with the proprietor and the technicians. The sole proprietor who is also the mechanic seemed to be very inflexible. We had a vehicle that according to the technician's opinion the transmission had a wrong fluid in it which was the cause of the problem. His only recourse, and I'm sure this was a legal liability issue, was to recommend replacing the entire transmission which was a totally unrealistic response. It turned out it wasn't a problem that ultimately resulted in the transmission overhaul. The shop is in the town of Auburn which is about 40 miles away and we couldn't just leave the car there. My wife had to go and wait for it and it wasn't very timely as I remember her saying. We needed to schedule the appointment. They kept the appointment and they took the appropriate amount of time. I won't use them again simply for the lack of convenience because it's too far away.

They are excellent. They give great advice. Their mechanics are excellent. They are very helpful. They have a loaner car. They do everything but they might specialize in German cars. I have a Volkswagen and the guy at the gas station recommended them to me. They are a little expensive.

Work seemed OK but later, front-end squeaks developed. I took car in again in November and they lubed the new rubber parts, at no charge, which eliminated squeaks. They said they may have to do that again. I wish they had told me in June to expect this side effect. Instead, I worried that something was wrong. I've gone to this provider for years but a few times they did not find and/or fix the problem the first time and I had to return and leave my car a second time, which was inconvenient. They do try to make it right eventually.

Their service was good. They did a good job for us.
