"First and foremost All Seasons Pools and Spas’ prides itself on customer service and knowledge. For the 5 months of servicing [removed member name] pool, we properly maintained the water chemistry (we keep records for all of our pools). We have provided [removed member name] with these records. When we started her pool service the water was in a scale forming state (high saturation index), which we theorize caused the light scale build up in her pool surface. Over the first month of service we balanced the pool to within the acceptable saturation index range. This proper water balance has caused the previous scale build up to be removed in some areas of the pool (this is the darker sections that she is seeing in the bottom of the pool). [removed member name] is claiming that our service has caused discoloring in her pool, when in all actuality our proper care of her pool is reversing a problem from the past. All Seasons has offered a solution to the problem, unlike what [removed member name] is claiming. We explained to her that as we continue to maintain the pool properly, more and more of the scale will disolve, leading to a uniform color on the pool surface. We also informed her there are other methods (acid wash) that can be done to expedite the process, but that these methods are not included in her monthly rate. [removed member name] is absolutely unwilling to consider our theory as a possibility. We are so confident about this theory that we have told her to contact other qualified pool companies to evaluate her pool. We believe that before writing the above review she has yet to have another company evaluate the situation and provide an unbiased 2nd opinion. All Seasons Pools and Spas is a qualified company, we are licensed/bonded, CPO certified, A+ Better Business rating, and we have nearly 500 happy weekly pool customers. We decided to cancel [removed member name] service contract because she threatened to take us to court over this, not because we didn’t want to fix the problem. To reiterate, we offered a solution to the problem but she wasn’t willing to consider that solution. In response to [removed member name] pump complaint. We replaced her single speed pump with a variable speed pump in late 2013 to help her save on electrical costs. The variable speed pump operates at much lower speeds therefore the water flow is slower than her previous pump. There is nothing wrong with the pump. We did increase the price of [removed member name] service by $1 per month. In our customer agreement, which [removed member name] signed, it states that we annually increase our rates by 3% (to offset increases in our operating costs). [removed member name] rate was only increased by 1.67% because she hadn’t been with us for full year."
