SEA BREEZE ROOFING

Met owners at home show in Fresno. Took awhile for them to come out to Visalia. They were busy with rain delays. When they came to do the repairs they worked very quickly, finished in 2 days. I would recommend Sea Breeze Roofing.

Punctual. Always here to do what was scheduled when it was to be done. Professional. Accommodating. Very easy to discuss things with. Explained what they would be doing, and when and why. Flexible as necessary. Very hard working crew. Courteous crew.

When we discovered two leaks in our home, we called them and they came right out, fixed the issue and were VERY good to deal with. We are planning to have a new roof installed in the next 6 months and will definitely use them again!!

They worked all day Sunday, then returned Monday afternoon after finishing another job. They completed the work. (Installed new wood where needed and installed flashing on the perimeter of our whole roof. They were very easy to deal with and I would certainly recommend them.
We were able to call for a re-inspection the next day and the inspector stated that it was a very good job.
The job was performed well and both my husband and myself feel we made two new friends.

When the initial crew arrived, they went to work removing the old shingles and preping the roof for the new shingles. During this process, the only problem encountered was the daily leaving of the crews drink containers and food wrappers all around the yard. The new roof was completed and the crew left.
Within a few months, shingles started coming loose and falling off. Each time new shingles fell off, I would call them and one of their men would come out and make the needed repairs. I do not recall how many times they came out over the following years but at one point, a man saying he was the owner came out to replace the fallen shingles. While making the repairs, he made the comment that it appeared that the shingles must have been a bad batch, a problem he had never had with the shingle manufactorer before.
As I recall, they were called out a couple more times after the owners visit. Finally I called and left a message as noone answered the phone. My call was never returned. A couple of months later, I called again and was told someone would be out to fix the problem. Noone ever showed up.
At some point, I contacted the BBB. They contacted Seabreeze who responded that the problem was the weather at my house. Then as an appearent afterthought, for the first time I had heard it, they claimed there was a five year service warrenty that had expired. I have been told since that 7 a year warranty is required in California. They as I recall wrote that they would look into the matter. That was the last I ever heard from them.
The 50 year shingles continue to fall off. I have had a fellow not from their company come out to replace them to avoid water damage from leaks, since I am getting to old to be on ladders.
