It was only 8 feet from the house and had another huge pine next to it only 5-6 ft away. We also have a cover/roof over the walkway to our front door which extends 4 ft into that space (so approx 4 ft from the tree). Between the house and tree there is a concrete patio with a narrow strip of ground where the 2 pine trees (now 1) are. from there, there are 2 more terraces going down the hill that wrapped around below (like an L) the tree that was removed. There are stone walls and steps leading down past where the tree was (the L part of the terrace). All areas are landscaped. They had to climb the tree to take it down and lower each cut part by rope. There were 3 men. 1 tree climber, 1 foreman, who directed them and 1 ground man that worked the block and tackle, hauled the branches and wood, stacked and chipped it. They showed up right on time and were amazingly efficient and fast. When they were done, they cleaned the area up very nicely. Nothing was damaged, not one plant, even the ones directly below the tree. There originally was a third tree, two over from the one we had removed. that had been cut down and a 5 ft tall stump left. They cut that one down to the ground for me as well. A very technical job well done.
Description of Work: They removed a large pine tree that had died.
