 + -1 moreExcellent, Rodney and his son Josh came out very quickly and went right to work. This work occurred in January, 2015 and is still holding up fine. I was actually shocked how quickly it went. All of the rotten wood was replaced and Rodney walked around the house with a claw hammer and tested the rest of the window sills. When I returned they had already changed wood on the west side of the house that was not even in the bid. He said it was starting to fail and might as well change it out now, so I wouldn't have problems in the future. No Extra Charge!
Description of Work: Dry rot repair to house siding and window sills. Remove front siding and replace with matching, replace trim. Paint.

 + -1 moreFantastic. Rod and Josh (father and son team) do high quality work with wonderful attention to detail and safety. And they are so versatile, I do ever need to call anyone else.
Description of Work: Replaced rotted siding on front of house, rebuilt window shelf and porch railings, replaced rotted front fence, replaced rotted water heater platform, replaced front door, and installed new smoke detectors.

Appreciate knowing what to expect and when to expect it. I don't have time to waste, so I was very pleased with their expertise and efficiency.
Description of Work: They installed new windows that I ordered through out the house, replaced a sink, repaired tile in kitchen, and a few other small odds and ends.

Description of Work: We had water damage from a roof leak. Holt Home Improvement repaired the roof problems, including putting down new roof paper and replacing some of the plywood sheeting that forms the roof. They repaired damage in a bedroom that included replacing some wood members,insulation, ceiling and wall drywall sheets, retexturing the new material and painting the room. The contractor and his son did the work, and they showed good attention to detail. The room looks great, and I thought the charges for the work were reasonable considering how much was done. I would use them again.

 + -1 moreand replace. Primed, sprayed the stucco on using a compressor and professional mixing to proper texture. Overall the job is well done. New shower faucet works great. No more leaks. Kitchen drywall did have black mold forming on it. Whether this could have been left over the ages or not, guess we felt it was better to repair than guess. Now we haven't used other small licensed contractors or took bids to see if the price was the best. So $80 an hour for two workers seems fair/good. They worked consistently from start to finish, no breaks. Actual time was more than 8 hours taking into consideration the original visit, buying materials and finish painting, cleaning and packing.
Description of Work: We have a 2 story home and water was leaking into our kitchen on the first floor from the shower on the second floor. Mr. Holt surveyed the situation and suggested the leak came from inside the wall and had run down a course on the ceiling kitchen. We should replace the shower valve system and replace the sheet rock area of the kitchen ceiling area. If not, mold would occur from the water damage. The estimate was around $900 with parts and labor of 8 hours for two workers. We've used Mr. Holt for other household repairs. He can fix just about anything. Handyman superb. So we trusted him to call it correctly. The shower faucet certainly was leaking from inside the wall and pouring out a small opening into the kitchen window. Mr. Holt and partner arrived on time and he and his partner got right to work. They had purchased the materials locally. He knows his stuff, and this job is not for the amateur. Lots of wall cutting, and pipe cutting and fitting to the proper size. It took the two about 3 1/2 hours to do the shower repair. Next afternoon they worked 4 hours to cut out the ceiling
