Our sales consultant Austyn, was very thorough and spent a lot of time going over the specifics. We had consultations with 5 companies and AM Sun Solar was one of only 2 companies who actually sent someone to our home. The others did a phone or video consult or in one case, no consult at all (simply emailed a quote after I sent a copy of our utility bill). We were very flexible on availability so were able to get our install done the day after our permit was approved. AM Sun Solar handled every aspect of the inspection/permit process and their communication throughout was superb. The crew arrived on time and completed the work in less than a day and were very respectful and very tidy/clean. They took care to run the electrical through the attic, minimizing the visible conduit and painted the small amount of exposed conduit to match the existing color. We utilized their financing which offers 18 months same as cash so that was great. AM Sun Solar was not the cheapest quote but with all the attention to detail and the personal consultation, we felt very comfortable going with them. The ability to monitor the system via the app is great and we just received our first negative utility bill. We haven't needed to call for service yet but I am hopeful that if we encounter any issues, Am Sun Solar will be there to back up their install. All in all, a great experience and we would recommend them.

I requested bids from 6 companies. A.M. Sun Solar had the best price and reputation. The install was on time with 20 panels installed. There have not been any problems in the last two years. Great job by a great company.

AM Sun Solar arranged zero down financing with a credit union providing low interest rates (4.99% APR) over 12 years, with monthly loan
payments lower than the old electric bills. Additionally, our home Fair Market Value should have increased $54,000 immediately, according to criteria of both the Solar Advantage Value Estimator and the 'Appraisal Journal". Plus, the unique inverter installed provides backup 'emergency' daylight electricity from solar power alone (without the need of any storage batteries or outside mechanical generator) during PG&E blackouts. (That is important to more than just survivalists! And it saves hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, by avoiding costly batteries or generators.) Did I mention that going solar helps reduce the footprint of our house and helps save the environment? We are now part of the 15 million homes needed to go solar in California, by installing "5-kilowatt residential rooftop photovoltaic systems", for the Golden State to cut its energy usage in half by 2050, and thereby "eliminate air pollution mortality and global warming emissions from California" (according to the journal 'Energy' and "Stanford News Service', based upon Stanford University research outlining a plan to get California to 100% renewable energy by 2050)!
