He was terrific! He was referred by a friend who had used him several years ago. Ramiro and his crew spent four days prepping the exterior, including two days of masking and sandblasting the old stucco. They were meticulous in their prep (I'm very particular about everything). They sanded all the windows, doors and hardwoods, trim, ect. They patched and caulked all the above. They were very clean. They removed all the exterior fixtures and put them back afterwards. They re-stuccoed the exterior, mixing the new paint color right into the stucco. They replaced the upper siding on two sides of the house, caulked it and painted it. They spent another four or five days priming and painting all the hardwood trim, windows and doors. His bid was among the lower bids I had gotten. Above all, he was honest and very professional. Every phase of this job was done with integrity and to the best of his ability -- which was awesome. I would use him again and refer him to anyone without question. He's based in Artesia and I thought the distance might be a problem. They were here every morning before 8:00 AM and worked tirelessly until dusk. He told me he has jobs all over the L.A. basin, including Long Beach, Thousand Oaks, Pacific Palisades, etc.. Travel is no problem for him. Ramiro was the best $8,000 I ever spent. I had thought of painting the house myself. I'm glad I didn't. It would have taken me months to do what they did, and I still couldn't have done as good a job.
