MIKE DIAMOND PLUMBING HEATING

I wish I had come here and checked the reviews before hiring them. They came for a simple check on a newly installed vanity, and the plumber said there was no problem! Then, when I asked him to renew the working under sink valve, he said you need to change both of them and then charged me $700! He said multiple times that it is just a home and we are a big company ! It happens when you hire someone based on radio advertisements, then in the invoice, he wrote 350 for fixing a vanity! He wrote that a handyman installed the vanity while I hired a licensed plumber from Home Depot, People listen to reviews and do not hire them and don't get stuck as I did.

I think he does a good job. I have had a few that have come out and I think he is the best one. So I will stick with him until I dont think he is the best one. Nice guy and always professional. I will use him again.

They did okay. They were here when they said they would be.

First of all I am writing about three different service calls.
1.  Slow Kitchen Drain- Plumber was Punctual, some Language problems, but OK.  He ran his Rooter Blade down the access and cleared the blockage, sort of.  Due to aging drain pipe, slow drain returned a few weeks later.  Not his fault.
2.  Slow Kitchen drain- Different driver/Plummer, this time we pressure blasted the pipe.  Same result.  Again not his fault, my pipes.
3.  Clogged Toilet, Different driver, No Language issues.  The guy arrived, neatly dressed, Casual shirt and slacks.  I showed him to the bathroom.  He did not bend a knee, flush a toilet or anything else before he quoted me $3000 to dig up my yard and do major mainline sewer work.  I invited him OUT!  I then called another plumber.  He charged more $150 to run the rooter blades. This toilet has worked perfectly since.
I recently had the kitchen line scoped with a camera.  They had us make a few miner changes and no slow drain issue since.  They did no work.

I called Mike Diamond about a garbage disposal unit that was not working. I was not living in this house when the unit had been installed so I did not know how long it had been there but the unit had Mike Diamond's sticker plastered on the side and around the rim so I presumed he had installed it. I called the number on the sticker. It did not work. I emailed them through their website and they called me quickly and arranged to end out a technician. Even on the phone however the receptionist said they had no record of installing the garbage disposal unit so there would be no warranty service. The guy came out promptly and before he had even turned the unit on, he said it would probably have to be replaced. The unit was humming but not working. He took the disposer out, plugged it in to the wall and pronounced it dead. He said it was "fried." This may well have been the case but there was little communication from the technician about why, how old the unit might be and what might be wrong with it. I asked for an estimate for replacing it and he quoted me 3 prices - one had a 5 year warranty and was $1000.00. The next one was $900 with a shorter warranty and the cheapest was $357 to install and I buy the thing myself. I knew this was all a total rip off so I let the guy go and called the Mike Diamond office back. I asked them why they had a sticker on the uni if it was not theirs - convenience, I was told. I asked why it should be so expensive - because they use only the best machines, I was told. Anyway, short version of all this - I went to Home Depot bought an Insinkerator Badger for $139 and a real plumber will install it Monday for $200. Anyway, I would never use Mike Diamond again. The phone service was annoying; the estimated were way over priced and nobody there could justify any of their costs! The one good thing I can say is hat they did not charge me for the service call.

Our neighbor has mentioned Mike Diamond advertising to fix
emergency backup. So we gave them a call.
For basic work they are ok. If you're in a pinch and you need someone right
away for a small job they work. They are over priced, work is not guaranteed,
and they really really try and up sell you on everything.
There is someone always on the phone and they did get someone out to the house
within 90 mins.
That's where it goes all down hill from there.
The guy arrives after explaining what we've done to troubleshoot he does a
quick look and tells us that we should spent $650 to fix how our pipes look. Ok
not too bad.
He goes to our clean out and spends 2 mins running about 5 feet of cable. We do
a quick check and it's draining but not really that well. He says that's all he
can do unless we pay more. Says it'll cost $200 to guarantee and $400 to flush
the system, and $2200 to really fix the issue by replacing the pipe. Felt sort
of dirty like talking to a used car salesman.
Of course as soon as he leaves that night the kitchen sink backs up again.
 We got our usual plumber to come the next morning. Fixed everything for
30% less with a 90 day guarantee.
Drains super quick now.
Will not call Mike Diamond again.

THEY WERE VERY WELL MANNERED. THEY DID THE JOB IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. THE HANDLE TO TURN THE WATER OFF AND ON WAS FORGOTTEN BY THE LAST GENTLEMEN THAT DID THE WORK. I FELT THE JOB IS NOT DONE.

HE WAS QUICK. HE GAVE US IDEAS ON HOW TO NOT BLOCK THE DRAIN AGAIN. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO COME. IT WAS SMALL, BUT THEY DID WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO DO.
