Very well. Jim is a very good electrician and so much more......he can also install audio/visual/security systems. He works very hard, is particular and tries to please the client.

Troubleshooting and diagnosis was made quickly. Rewiring of the electrical was completed within 15 minutes and tested for proper functioning. All was successful and the experience a friendly one.

Jim was very pleasant to work with. He quickly evaluated the problems and made helpful suggestions along the way as he dealt with the problems I asked him to correct. He gave me advice for changes I could make that would make our electrical system safer without looking for additional work himself.

He arrived on time, talked through all of the work to be done, and finished quickly. He probably wasn't the cheapest option, but the work was done right and he was very professional. Will definitely use him again.

They did a great job. They were very professional and honest about the work that needed to be done and what could wait. They didn't try to sell us extra things we didn't need.

Two previously cosulted Electricians either could not figure out why my kitcen lights would turn off after being on over 30 minutes. Sometimes they would come back on by themselves and other times, I would have to turn them off for a while. I don't think either of the first two wanted the job much. Jim Lewis, was the exact opposite. He knew what was wrong and wanted to fix it, at a great price. He did an excellent job and my kitchen is much brighter.

I have used Jim Lewis Electric on a number of occasions over the last 10 years, both at my home and at a duplex rental property. My experience has always been positive. For this job, My kitchen lighting fixture was not working and I also had an outdoor light that was not working. JIm found the problem with the kitchen light and replaced the ballast. The outdoor light problem was due to a loose socket, which Jim quickly corrected. As in the past, Jim quickly figured out what the problem was and fixed it. He is honest and doesn't try to sell you services you don't need! I will continue to use Lewis electric and recommend him to my others.

Living on the Central Coast seems to come with extra challenges in obtaining a reliable service person. As of late I’ve experienced several service people who make appointments, and show up several hours or don’t show up at all. I’m at a loss as to how some of these people stay in business with their lack of common courtesies such as a phone call. This however is not the case with Jim Lewis of Lewis Electric in fact it is quite the opposite. Jim arrived on time for our scheduled appointment and came prepared to complete the work during my appointment time. My appointment began with Jim listening (yes, I said listening) attentively to my concerns of the electrical issues I was currently experiencing within my kitchen. Of course what I thought was just a problem with the GFI outlet, turned out to be more than the GFI outlet. After examining the areas of my electrical concerns Jim recommended that the offending electrical outlets be replaced, and the GIF outlet remained unchanged for it was working properly. Jim also took the time to fit in an extra project of routing my currently hardwired dishwasher into its own wall outlet instead of its current state, but with that came some extra troubleshooting inside my horribly designed breaker box which wasn’t working properly in order to allow the dishwasher to turn on.

Throughout my entire service call Jim remained professional, and took the extra time to explain each step of the process in order to fix each electrical issue properly. He even took the time to bring to my attention other areas concerning my breaker box (which is located outside) that would soon need some maintenance, along with the steps to help protect it from further salt air corrosion. Jim did an excellent job taking care of my current electrical needs, so much, so that in the near future I will be inviting him back out to my house to add some additional electrical outlets to the outside of my house, as well as some much needed extra lighting inside my extremely poorly lit garage. I am one extremely satisfied customer with properly working electral outlets, dishwasher, and breaker box, and I will be recommending Lewis Electric to all my friends and family for all their future electrical needs.
