Humboldt Termite & Pest Control

I don't think we did much comparison shopping then but they did have a coupon in the phone book. When I contacted them, everybody had the same price so with their coupon, that made them better. It all works well. They were pretty responsive. I don't remember any issues on their punctuality. They were pretty good at explaining how things worked and what to expect. What they did was effective. They took care of the pest control problem. Within a couple of months, we no longer needed their services.

no follow through.  Bad service.  They only sometimes return calls.  They lose paperwork.  Poorly organized company!

We have a monthly service with Humboldt Termite.  I wish we had more options in town, but we don't.  If we did perhaps Humboldt Termite would be a bit more competitive and customer service oriented.  We had the same contract for a number of years and it wasn't until I finally got to the manager that found out that we should have had more protection for the size and location of our house.  It was also then that I learned that the prices had dropped.  
Also, they don't offer any discounts to loyal customers.  Like I said, I guess they don't have to because there really isn't any competition, but it is a shame because an honest customer focused service provider could attract a lot of loyal customers in this town.

In general we are pleased with the results of the service but the service itself can be a little shoddy. We never had rodent activity in the house but noticed it in the yard and outbuildings when we purchased the house. We hired them to keep the rodents under control and they have done that. We haven't had any problems since we have had their service and they do come at the same time every month. We also hired them to spray for spiders and we have minimal (if any) spider activity on the outside of the house.
That being said, we have had several incidents that have been extremely frustrating. When we first began the service they sprayed for spiders and set up rodent bait stations but didn't sweep down the cobwebs like they said they would in the service contract. We had to call them two times before they came back and did it but they have done it since and it has been over a year since this incident. We have also had general misunderstandings and such but they have been quickly resolved. The worst incident was when a service technician emptied the rodent bait station (droppings and all) into my flower bed. My husband called the manager and they were very responsive and assured us it wouldn't happen again and it hasn't.
Overall, I am not displeased with their service and I know their products work but I think they could do a better job ensuring they offer the best quality possible.

I have been using them for about ten years. I have a monthly contract for about ten apartments. They are consistent. They are punctual.

They are very professional, courteous and quick to respond. They price was pretty competitive and they were actually a little cheaper than other companies I looked at. I will use them again in the future.
