FIRST AID FOR AILING AUTOS

They are a great place to bring a foreign car. The last time I went he did a tine up for us. He is very affordable and honest.

Greg repaired my car quickly (after receiving my okay on what was needed to be done) and had it ready for me to pick up as soon as possible. For over 30 years, Greg has been my best and most trusted mechanic and I appreciate everything about his work and service on my vehicles over the years.

After getting an 2004 Acura with some aftermarket modifications and a lot of not-quite-right home maintenance done on it, I started taking it to Greg at First Aid for Ailing Autos to get everything that needed fixing worked through. In addition to being a friendly, polite guy and good about getting you scheduled quickly, he's a mechanic you can trust--he's not handing the work off to semi-skilled assistants or slapping something together to get you out the door quickly. He'll take the time to figure out what's wrong and actually fix it properly, and then charge you a remarkably reasonable amount for the work.
This time out I happened to know what was wrong--the problem was pretty obviously a failing power steering pump--but even though I asked flat out for a new one he still took the time to make sure that it really was the pump before replacing an expensive part that might not need it, since the old one wasn't stone-dead, just flaky.
And, as always, the work was done quickly and right--haven't had a problem with it since. The same goes for all the other repairs and routine maintenance he did on this vehicle--everything I've taken it in for got fixed properly. Always a safe choice when I need car repairs.
