Very good job very good to work with. They did us a favor and removed old gutters so we could paint they let us change our mind on color and shape of gutter without one complaint because of our mind change

Alves was very responsive and professional while performing the work. One of the workers broke through a part of the roof that was rotten, and they quickly covered the exposed room with tarping. The area was cleaned well afterwards. They were extremely fast in replacing the roof, and it looks fantastic! Another crew came out the following day to install the metal gutters. They were also very quick and professional. The finished product looks excellent.

What they did is the get their own contractors when they get a job and they send out contractors that obviously didn't know what they were doing and they didn't even line up the floor right. And when they put it in it all uneven, you know it was suppose to look like wood floor but it was all off center like I could have figured that out. They did our roof and they did a great job they did that years ago. But they didn't do a very good job on the floors. They sent their contractor that did a crappy job then they redid it thou and fixed it but still I ended up having transition piece between the two room which kind of took away from the whole point that it was supposed to look like all wood floor. It's hard to judge, they fixed it but they blew it too.

Approximately 10 years ago, Alves installed seamless gutters on our home. Their original service was fine. They showed up on time, completed the work as promised, and their price was reasonable.  However, their follow-up customer service is very bad.  Within the last year we noticed that there were multiple rusted-out holes throughout the gutters. 10 years is too soon for these aluminum gutters to develop holes like this. We regularly clean our gutters and we followed the warranty instructions, so we knew that wasn't the problem,  The main locations of the rusted holes were in the long runs of the gutter. Water accumulates in these spots because the gutters apparently don't drain properly. A properly hung gutter will have a very slight decline toward the downspouts so they can drain. The decline should not be noticeable to the eye, so the homeowner will not notice that the gutter is improperly hung.  We contacted Alves because the gutters came with a warranty.  They told us that they no longer use this type of gutter because they don't think it is a good product and they don't like the customer service. Alves indicated that there was nothing they could do for us. When we contacted the gutter manufacturer (which was a time consuming ordeal), they finally said that they would honor the warranty and would send out new gutters.  We contacted Alves again to tell them that the gutter company would provide new gutters, and to try and agree on a solution to the problem. Alves hung the gutters and chose the product, so it was only reasonable to assume that they would honor the warranty and hang the gutters.  They told us that they would hang the gutters at a "discounted" price of $800. I asked to speak to the owner and was told that the owner would not speak to me, because he had made his decision and he wasn't going to do anything more than give me the "discounted" price.  To say that we're disappointed is an understatement. We have been very reasonable and have gone through every hoop.  We've never been difficult or abusive, we have just been persistent. This process took months, and the owner can't take 10 minutes out of the day to speak to me.  I do not recommend Alves.

Smooth, fast and professional

They did fine. We didn't want to get our driveway paved, so we just did as much as we had to do for the county not to fine us. Alves was very accommodating. They did fine. Their bid was lower than the other one we got.

Alves' representative was on time; very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous; and described in detail the job that would be performed. This was a re-roof; not sure what would be found under the existing shingles. Price range was middle of the pack of the 3 estimates I received. Cost per hour per man for carpentry was considerably higher than other bids, however. I would have selected them except cost was a significant factor, and another company with equally good recommendations, professionalism, and quality of materials came in a thousand dollars lower. I would not hesitate to recommend Alves to anyone wanting a bid on a roofing job.

Alves did a wonderful and professional job on our roof.  The very large crew brought their own porta-potty, and were efficient and courteous.  They protected all of our windows and the landscape, and did a great job of cleaning up when they were through (they even had a guy use a magnet to get any loose nails!).  They finished the job, from tear off to completed roof in one day, and it's beautiful!  We really couldn't be happier. Our next door neighbors were so impressed that they had their roof replaced as well.

They were very responsive and came in and out. They were clean and prompt. They came out the same day and were accommodating.

They arrived on time with a full crew. They covered our bushes to protect them from any falling debris. All roofing and plywood was placed into a scissor lift dumpster. After installing all the roofing they went around the yard with a magnet to make sure they didn't leave any nails. They raked up any debris as well. The yard didn't even look like anybody had done any work when they finished. They did all of this in one day. I was very pleased with their work and have recommended them to several people.

The work was done efficiently and expeditiously. The clean-up was excellent. Three roofers who submitted bids for this job. One bid was for a minimal patch job. One bid was very high. Alves was the Goldilocks bid.

very well. Took one day to replace the roof, and one day to add the gutters. They left very little mess and did a good job protecting landscaping and stuff around the house.

We're impressed with their work ethics and honesty. Even as I write this, those Alves guys are on our roof -- replacing the screws.

These guys were great! they showed up on time, got the job done promptly, and cleaned up every last bit of their mess. They were very polite and the crew were really hard workers. I was very pleased with Aves, Inc and would use them again in the future.

.Easy to deal with foreman and office personnel. Very large roof. Crew of 13 showed up with 4 trucks promptly at 8AM.
By 5Pm job was totally done and work site was spotless.

They do roofing, excavating, paving, and other things. They're a huge company. It worked out well, they were very accommodating, and did a good job. I give them the highest ratings and would use them again in the future.
