Job went well. Arrived on schedule with a crew and equipment to get as much work done as possible the first day. Laid plastic down along entire perimeter of the house to catch debris. Removed the old shingles and prepared roof for the new roof. Some carpentry work was done and it was done to our satisfaction. The job took 2 1/2 days to complete. Very satisfied with the work and professional way they went about their job. Did a great job of cleaning up. I can't comment on the job cost. We did not price shop. My one small concern is that the roof was installed in very cold weather. Apparently the shingles need a couple of good warm 60 degree days to lay down flat. That won't happen for awhile. We live in a forested area and I am hoping the forest debris does not get up under the raised shingles and cause a problem later on down the road. This company, so far, has been very responsive and professional so I feel confident that if I do have a future concern it will be addressed to my satisfaction. Very satisfied and would highly recommend this company.

From the very first contact, the stage was set for how the project would go.  The estimator, Tom Christian, has worked for this firm for 23+ years and it is reflected in his knowledge and professionalism.  In the past, I have had estimators/salesmen try to steer me into unnecessary add-ons (sound familiar?) but Tom was a great exception to the rule.  He took the time to carefully survey the situation and advise me of the damage and my options.  He is quite a credit to this firm.
The team, led by Brian, arrived on time and quickly established that this was a solid group of professionals.  I had witnessed a neighbor's roofing job by a different firm last year and still have memories of what can best be described as a troop of drunken howler monkeys at a convention--Loud cursing; blaring boom box; trucks blocking the street and more.  Not these gentlemen.  The team was efficient to the point where I thought that I was dealing with a group of Ninjas.  Apart from the necessary hammering, they made virtually no noise at all.  The job lasted 2 1/2 days; at the end of each day, there was not a single scrap to show that they had ever been on site.
I had initially decided against some additional work being done under the eaves but changed my mind once I saw what needed to be done.  Not a problem; they quickly came back and performed the additional work. 
I have to mention Liz on the front desk who not only made my 2 visits to the office painless (anyone really enjoy paying off a large invoice?) but was so cheerful and professional that I left feeling good about the transaction. 
Today, when posting this, I realized that the posted discount had not been applied.  A phone call to the controller Liz resulted in her telling me that a check for that amount would be promptly mailed to me.  I have no doubt that this will happen.
Were they the cheapest? Nope.  But my grandfather taught me that people who buy on the cheap wind up buying it over and over again while quality last forever.  As I step outside and survey the job that they did I find myself smiling.  Problem solved; and I have been privileged to meet a group of professionals with high standards.

As I watched them work it looked like they were doing a good job.  Repairing a leak caused by someone else's work is not easy to evaluate.  It will be next rainy season to prove the repair worked or not.
When I asked before the work was contracted if I got the 3% discount or the 2% senior discount I was told by the manager that they did not give discounts on repair work.  I told them to go ahead and do the job anyway.

I live in a trailer and have what is known as a Snow Roof.  Before I chose R&I Roofing, I had gotten a couple quotes from 2 other roofers who both felt I needed the whole roof redone (cost between $1000-$4000).  It was going to be an expensive redo.
When R&I came out, he inspected the roof and the leak in the kitchen. He said it had been repaired before but the repair it was done wrong. He assured me that they could fix the leaky area and I could get through the winter, possibly even longer, before the whole roof would need to be redone. He also gave me quotes on two different types of roofs I could get in the future and his quotes were below the other guys. So I'm happy!!

A and I had to rebuild about 1/2 of my roof because of rot. The owner Kyle and workers came back several times afterward to check on things. I could see the care and concern they took in doing the job and how they gladly interfaced with me and any concerns I had.  I felt heard and my concerns were addressed well. I am having them come back to install a woodstove pipe through my roof. Who better to help me with that? I know the job will be done well.  Now that we have had a couple of good downpours of rain, I am feeling comfy. My roof is good. They even have discounts available for paying on time and for seniors.. These guys are respectful and most of the crew has been there for years. That says a lot about the owner. I would definately recommend them. Oh! and the first thing that drew me to A and I was the fact that the bid was well written.  While other companies came in lower, they did not address the extensive rot that originally existed. A and I was up front and detailed on all of their communication with me.

Excellent job . . . other contractors have made comments about what a nice job.  They do cost a little bit more . . . but not that much and the work is great.  If issues do arise . . . they take care of it.

From the first phone call to their office to the final invoicing, they were very professional and polite.
They showed up to give the estimate when they said they would, and had samples of roofing material to show me.
They had the bid for me in a reasonable amount of time, and it was within the range of what we expected to pay.
They started the project a few weeks later, planning to have one day to strip the roof and the next day to put the new roof on.
There was as expected quite a bit of rotted wood to replace. They had a crew of a couple dozen guys working hard, and they finished the whole roof in one day. It looked great, and they cleaned up every bit of mess.
Two days later the gutter guys came and put the new gutters on. They also did a great job.
We are very happy with our new roof, and I would recommend A&I Roofing to anyone who likes quality work and a professional attitude.
I should mention we live in a very rural area and it can be difficult to get contractors out here to bid on jobs. I called two other roofing companies. One was not nearly as professional as A&I, and the other did not show up for the estimate and did not call.

It was a joy.  I have used A&I for two roofs now.  The first was my home.  Professional and willing to go the extra mile.  They care very much about the work they do. 

There were friendly, helpful, and quick. They gave free advice. They were very professional and the tech that came out actually had his manager come out later just take a real good look at it as far as quoting me to redo the entire roof, so I had two guys out here to give me good quote. They were very good about giving the options regarding the new roof.

Very well done.  Professional.  Easy to work with on complicated projects.  Left the place very clean.

A&I Roofing did a great job on my new roof, the crew worked fast and efficiently and did quality work too. The entire process went well from the estimate to the completion and clean up.

Just before Thanksgiving, I noticed a small leak in my roof. A&I sent someone over right away, he went up on the roof, diagnosed the problem and solved it while I was out of town. All for a very reasonable price! Thanks!

The crew including the estimator, carpenters and tear off men arrived on time on a Tuesday, August 14, 2012. When all was said and done the last fellows left around noon on Friday. This was a big job, over 36 squares, and there was quite a bit of remedial work including correcting the three drooping overhangs, replacing rotted decking and fixing a leak around the attic-end chimney. These items increased the end cost but the increase was reasonable and I felt the head carpenter was really looking out for us. Naturally, rain was forecast for Wednesday evening (in the driest month of the year) and the guys really hustled to "dry in" the roof with tar paper underlayment plus visqueen just in case. The carpenter and estimator checked the weather forecast to avoid an unpleasant surprise. The company listened to all my suggestions and accommodated my changes and additions without a fuss. Every man seemed efficient. Everybody cleaned up as worked progressed and at the end of each day. This was hot tiring work, yet I didn't hear any complainin' or cussin', and I didn't see any shovel leanin'. As I write today, November 19, 2012, we have had several substantial storms since re-roofing and our house and garage are as dry as a bone inside. Our 50-year roof is on and our hats are off to the wonderful guys (and nice office lady) at A & I Roofing.
