TOTAL SHREDDING, LLC?

Excellent service. Quick response to website request for quote. Amy emailed and asked for questions. I had many. They bring a truck to your home and shred on site. Minimum is $120 for 14 file boxes, $5 for each additional box. They empty and leave the boxes. They requested 2 day notice to make an appointment. The driver called 30 minutes in advance (during a 4 hour window). They came early in the window. My boxes were in the garage down a fairly long driveway. Worker had a rolling bin and he QUICKLY loaded and shredded the papers/magazines in the truck. Done in about 20 minutes. Card information was provided in advance. Rapid delivery of an email confirmation of payment and verification that records were destroyed. Worth every penny for convenience and peace of mind.

Easy to talk to, easy to set up. In fact they were even a bit early in arriving. Pricing was comparable to what I've paid in the past to other companies. Would definitely hire them again.

Called the number after I got no response from the email link through Angie's List. The lady told me she never uses the email link so it's just as well I called. She seemed more responsive on the phone when she heard I was local. Minimum cost to come out is $100 and I was asked for my credit card information over the phone. I was given a three hour window for the next Monday (I called on Friday) from 2pm - 5pm and got a call at 2.10pm to say he was on his way, he arrived a 2.20pm. My bags and boxes totaled two large trash containers when transferred. Cardboard boxes are not shredded but the grocery bags are. The truck is large and noisy but the process is very quick. All the shredding was done in five minutes. Before he left he told me I would get an email which never arrived and a receipt would be sent to me so I could use this as a tax deduction. I am please with the service and will use Total Shredding again. The guy that came to do the shredding was nice and knew exactly what he was doing was quick to get the job done and move his large noisy truck on.

It was fine, convenient and they did the job so I have no complaints. The people who own the mail voice there are very wonderful people and I've used them before.

Arrived on time and shredded documents

Everything was good, except punctuality: Ordered service in the week prior to the service being performed. Was given a window between 11am and 1pm on June 4th. On the day of the service, in the middle of the window, driver calls at 12:10pm to say he's delayed and he'll be there at 2pm. Normally I would have rescheduled at that point, but I had to have the shredding service performed urgently. However, I also had a business meeting scheduled at 2pm. So I ended up having to cancel the meeting. For large companies with receptionists on payroll, such a delay may be irrelevant. For a one-man shop like mine it presented a problem. I understand issues with LA traffic etc. But they are nothing new or uncommon. Those have to be figured into the windows offered, and the runs scheduled. I don't know whether today's delay was the driver's fault or the fault of too ambitious scheduling, but it's not my problem to figure that out. When the company says "between 11 and 1" that should mean "between 11 and 1". Once the driver was here, the service was performed flawlessly, swiftly and very professionally. Driver did apologize repeatedly for his tardiness. Truck was equipped with video to be able to witness the shredding process. Had he been here within the scheduled window, this would have been an "all A" review. But unfortunately, reliable scheduling is very important.

Scheduled on Tuesday for a Thursday shredding project. We were given a 2 hour window for service and he arrived well within that time. Project took approximately 10 minutes. Friendly, efficient employee.

It went very well. They were on time, very efficient and polite. Excellent service!

I was disappointed because I joined Angie's List in order to have access to the best and this company did not even call me back.

They were able to schedule a Saturday morning pickup. Their communication was fine, they called on Saturday morning to see if they could come a little earlier than our appointment time, which was fine with me, and the entire time for them to perform the shredding of all boxes was less than 10 minutes. He emptied my boxes into a wheeled trash bin on my driveway, wheeled it to their shredding truck, and the truck itself has the shredder built into it. My 15 boxes turned into two trashcan loads. I kept my boxes, which I preferred. They were very pleasant and efficient. Can't recommend them highly enough.

The worker who came to the house was friendly and effficient and did a great job. Also, he showed up an hour into our three-hour time window. My only concern was with the dispatcher, who was brusque and unfriendly, and who changed the appointment window on us by several hours the day before.

Even took the boxes which he said the don't ordinarily do. Guy's name was Mike. Very friendly, called to say was on his way. No complaints and would use them again.

The service was excellent from start to finish. We are satisfied customers.

The shredding was scheduled for Wednesday, September 29. The company called several days before and asked if it would be possible to reschedule for Friday, Oct 1. This actually worked out better since it gave us a couple more days to go through our approximately 30 years of accumulated paperwork. They arrived on time and the entire job took only a few minutes. I don't intend to collect this much paper ever again but I would hire this company again if I had a large amount of shredding.

The worker had a great attitude and got the job done in about 45 minutes. Because of early delays that he had on other jobs, he was not able to get to us until late in the day. He was about 3 hours late. After I called the main office, he got in touch with me and keep in touch until he arrived to do the job.

I had to select the company and set up an appointment remotely as the documents were at my parents house in California and I live in Texas. Total Shredding responded immediately to my on-line request for a quote and was able to set up an appointment during one phone call. They set up a 3 hour window for the same week. They called 1/2 hour before being there. They shredde 31 boxes of papers within 1/2 hour with no problems what so ever.

Easy scheduling and better price than others that I found like Shred-it. I will definately use them again.
