They came over for half an hour and they fix it perfectly.

Our 2.5 year old Whirlpool water heater stopped working. I called several places but no one could come out the same day to help. Then I called RJ Colin's Plumbing. They said they would try to get someone out here the same day. I agreed as they were our best bet. An hour later they called to tell me someone was on his way! The gentleman that came was kind and professional. The only downside was their fee of $98 per hour minimum. So pricing gets a B but overall experience is definitely an A.

They are a good company.  They are always on time.  They are clean, professional and knowledgeable.  The location where they work out of is a very clean place.  As a first time customer they gave me a $10 discount.

It was a rental property and so I did not pay for it. The landlord told us to get somebody, have them repair it, and send her the bill. They were very quick and have a quick response.

Discovered slow drip from the ceiling of the garage apparently coming from an upstairs bathroom. R J Collins came next day, spent over an hour trying to localize the source. Finally decided it was from a cold water line between two shower walls. Spent some time trying to figure out a way to avoid putting a hole in the shower wall to get at it, but decided it was the only way to do it. Came back later with the right tools and cut a hole taking out 6 tiles and found and fixed the leak. Most of the work was in getting at the pipe behind the shower wall.
Very professional, did clean cuts without damaging adjacent tiles, cleaned up well after finishing. Warned me of the dust that would be generated during cutting and attempted to contain it. Informed me of everything he was doing.
Did a good job, will use them again.

Wow: Our home has some brittle plumbing: Another pinprick leak of our hot water pipe.
Called up them up in the late afternoon: they were there in less than an hour. This leak was near our hot water heater, but it wasn't hidden either. Great work.
Also, the plumber gave me some overview of the hot water system from the hot water heater going in and going out. Also, he recommended that I put the hot water pump on a timer: save some power usage, and reduce some of the turbulent flow that hot water pump generates:
Which also breaks down welds from the inside -out, which when broken leads to pinprick steam leaks...
Hire these guys. Except when I have another pinprick leak.

We just moved into this home. We had a hot water leak on Christmas night: over our master bedroom. Gaah...
i shut off the hot water tank. Called RJ Collins the next day- Saturday, 12/26. They came out stayed a couple of hours in our attic: fixed it.
We'd used them before for a plumber's certification on the back-flow valve. So, I had their number already.
Call them: they rock.

Excellent - called in the morning and they came out that afternoon. In fact, I was a little late so when they called to verify the appointment they told me he would be waiting for me. Came in evaluated the problem and fixed. I could not have asked for better service.

Overall, RJC Plumbing did a great job. The plumbers were on time, completed their work in a timely manner, and cleaned up after themselves. Great company and I would highly recommend them for any job; big or small.

The guys and RJ Collins are professional, clean and very good at what they do. The front office is efficient and honest - and will always do their best to get someone out to your home in a timely manner. Even on Christmas day when your mother in law clogs your kitchen sink. I had to endure another local plumber here for a construction job (contractor's choice, not mine), and it made me even more satisfied with the work done by the plumber from RJ Collins.

They were expensive but when I talked about it they weren't that expensive. They were on time; they were neat and cleaned up after themselves. Obviously they fixed the problem which is important.

R J COLLINS PLUMBING CO INC were very nice and really efficient. Their prices were competitive. They told me upfront what the hourly wage was going to be. I liked that I could get them here early in the morning. They came when they said they were going to come. They were professional and efficient.

I spent $1500 on that work. The work went very well and their quote was extremely competitive. I had the work done on the work on an emergency basis. They treated us fairly when they came out to do the quote and did not charge us to diagnose the problem. They gave us a much better price which was within what we were looking at. They were very professional and courteous.

It did take awhile for them to send someone out but that was due to only a few people being certified to work on backflow devices (by CA law, only certain people can perform the work and they must file a report each time with the state as well). But once they showed up and performed the yearly test, which had not been done for 7 years because another company dropped us from their list, the device passed and it stopped leaking! So we didn't have to spend money to have it tested first and then repaired-what a relief.

The plumber, Marco arrived and I noted the exact time. He snaked the drain and checked a toilet for me then left. I checked the time it was just under one hour. He sat in his truck blocking my driveway for ten minutes so I had to wait for him to move his truck. The bill came and he charged me for 1.5 hours. I called and complained, and they checked his GPS in his truck showing he had been there for 1 hours and five minutes. After he sat in his truck for ten minutes to run the time over one hour. A couple of days later I noticed the same drain was clogged. I called them back to re-snake it. It was the same location as before. They billed me again. I called and complained, again. They tried to say it was a different clog, and was not a call back. I refused to pay. I filed a complaint with the BBB. And they threatened to take me to small claims court.

Overall experience was good. Mike was very courteous and professional. I like the fact that he explained other options prior to doing the work, rather than doing it first and surprising you with a larger bill. From what other plumbing companies have told me, the cost of clearing the 2 drains was average.

THEY WERE ALWAYS EXTREMELY NICE, HELPFUL, FAST, EFFICIENT, AND VERY REASONABLE FOR THE WORK THEY PERFORMED. SO MUCH SO THAT I'VE RECOMMENDED THEM TO OTHERS, WHO ALSO AGREED THEY PERFORMED VERY WELL, AND PRICES VERY REASONABLE!
