JOE GARCIA CLEANING SERVICES

Joe was recommended to us by a coworker. We've used him for about a year now, every other week, and the quality of work seems to continue to worsen. The only reason we've continued to use his services for the year is to avoid the hassle of finding another cleaner. For a year now, we have told ourselves, "Hey, what do you expect for $65?" but each time his crew cleans our place, we find they do a lesser job than the time before. I continuously have to call Joe to remind them that the glass-topped coffeetable needs to be wiped clean. They seem to lack pride in their work. We have now decided that no cleaning is better than the current situation and are shopping for a new cleaner.

I found them on Craigslist. Their ad said they did a thorough job, including scrubbing floors. Of course that wasn't true. Three ladies showed up. They were done in an hour. Three man-hours is pretty fast, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. It looked OK as they were leaving although they had a wet mop resting on my oriental rug. The owner, Joe Garcia, never called to try to set up a future date or to see if I was satisfied. I wouldn't have hired them back, but it would have been nice to have been asked.
