Have had other AC companies out in past several years - they all tried to sell us brand new units. Some said they couldn't repair anything due to the age of our unit. Other's did okay by recharging unit but no repairs. Well a few weeks ago the cold air just stopped coming out, just regular or warm air, and it was HOT OUTSIDE & INSIDE! Bowman's was recommended by our go-to plumbers (RJ Collins) so felt good about having them out. They were marvelous! Told us a fan(?) had broken and it needed to be replaced in order to get the cold air thru the ducts. Then after replacing it they could see if we needed more R22 to recharge. Thank goodness it ended up being only 2 gallons of refrigerant (it's so expensive these days but they only charged $100/gallon). All in all, this was an excellent job at an excellent price and all is well once again. Thank you so very much Bowman of Arcadia!!!

Andreas, who provided the estimate for the job and supervised the installation, and the two workers who did the actual installation were all great. Andreas patiently discussed the details of the bid with me over a two-week period, responding quickly (by email or phone) to my many questions. Yet, I never felt pressured to accept the bid. The workers who did the installation were professional, courteos, and punctual. When they were done, the attic was in better shape than it had been originally. The entire job, except for the HERS testing and permit approval, was done in 4 days, causing my wife and me (and our dog) hardly any inconvenience. A very good experience.

It was positive overall. They actually were timely and did some good suggestions in addition for maintaining the air conditioner. I guess what comes to mind is they were reasonably priced.
