Apple Valley Animal Hospital

Had a very sick  10 year old dog.  Thought I might lose her, but thanks to their genuine caring and treatment, she is doing 100% better in less than 24 hours!  My silly Pit Bull loves to eat the bark from wood, this time it almost cost us her life!  Major intestinal problems that would not subside on their own brought me to Apple Valley Animal Hospital.  Being new to the area I did not have a vet, but a neighbor told me about AV Animal Hosp. - they were listed on Angie's List, but the reviews were old and outdated, so that was of no help.  I called the vet's office, explained the situation and told them I had never been there.  Instead of making me wait days/weeks, they scheduled an immediate appt.  Their typical office visit fee is $47, which is VERY reasonable!  Of course, since my girl was very ill we had to do a thorough exam, blood work and x-rays.  With other vets I have spent well over $400 just for an x-ray alone, but not with AV Animal Hospital.  The total bill was $345 including medication, and follow up!  In less than 24 hours she is 100% better and I am amazed!  Have never experienced such quality treatment from a vet!  They truly care about the animal and its human, the entire staff is genuine and caring.  They will give you an estimate of costs throughout the entire process if you prefer, so you are not surprised at a final bill.  They will be our regular vet from now on!  In fact, with a vet like this, if we ever relocate, I will endeavor to drive whatever distance is necessary to keep them.  They are more than worth having on your speed dial!
