Nice guy (a real talker). Chris gave us a good price on interior painting which included a lot of high cielings and stairwell areas that are hard to get to. Chris convinced us that he was up to the job and that reaching those high areas would be no problem. However, he chose to start in the bedrooms and do all of the easy access work, but then after several days on the job called to inform that he could no longer complete the work. Chris said the reason was medically related, but he appears healthy and strong. I don't know if I should believe him or if he just found another job that was easy money. Chris had his truck all packed up before I got back to the house. He left the laundry room and a closet partially finished, so I got to stay home to finish that work so we could use that space and put the house back together. My wife is furious and did not want to pay him, put I made partial payment on the contract we had with him and got him out of the house. Hopefully Chris is not looking at anything serious medically, but he left us in a lurch.
