This high a level of specialty and service takes time. In my case it was about 6 months from initial order until the new engine was delivered, but the wait was well worth it. I am highly satisfied with the product.
This whole endeavor was a first experience for me, and there were aspects of the process that I didn't anticipate, such as: what is included in a price quote for an engine build versus the build itself, the modification of my parts, and the testing services . A lack of knowledge on my part resulted in some consternation, and a some time lost. However, all's well that ends well. I recommend that anyone considering having a custom engine built for high performance or racing, should educate themselves in the process and ask lots of questions in the beginning to avoid misunderstandings.
