Animal Rescues/Shelters
They're very interested in the animals they adopt out. They also let you know ahead of time if an animal needs any medicine. They even picked up the costs for extra medicine for my dog when I took him to the vet. They give you a week to bond with the animal, and if it doesn't work out you can bring the animal back. They also call and follow up to make sure the animal is doing well. The $200 donation included a microchip, neutering, and they keep up with all of the shots until you take the animal home.
