bathtub refinishing
 + -1 moreJason did a fantastic job. The finish looks like new -- as if we had a new tub installed. It's beautiful. He was really thorough and came on the weekend. When the job lasted longer than anticipated he felt bad, but returned as promised to finish. I'm really happy with the results.
Description of Work: Badly chipping tub previously refinished (pporly). The finish was peeling away. We didn't want to replace the tub because it's old and really nice and big. Jason at Black Diamond gave us a fair quote, showed up on time and was meticulous about his work. The job turned out to be much bigger than he expected and he had to return a second day to finish. The peeling surface meant he had to sand much of the old finish away, which is bad enough. Then applying the new finish is a nasty job. He vented the bathroom well, covered everything to protect it, was really thoughtful about everything.
