Family-owned corporation with one licensed structural engineer. We provide direct services to the client or coordinate work through a general contractor. We also collaborate with other design professionals, such as architects and building designers. We sub-contract with building designers/drafters to provide construction drawings for larger projects. The engineer will meet with you on site or at our office to determine your needs and provide you with a proposal for services (estimate). Payment is not required until after the structural documents are submitted for permit.
We provide structural calculations and drawings based on current building codes for new and remodeled residential and light commercial projects, serving as the engineer-of-record for the permitting process. We provide evaluation of existing buildings or portions of structures damaged by earthquakes, wind, fire or accidents and provide a professional recommendation. We can provide official letters of acceptance and will intervene on your behalf if cited for a permit violation.
