Abel garage doors carries the majority of the parts on our truck to perform most garage door repairs on our first call. We inform our customers as to their options, and most of the time, we can repair the garage door without having to sell you a new garage door. They called when the door arrived, and the installers arrived at the appointment time and quickly removed the old door. When they began installing the new door, they discovered that the wrong panel design had been shipped. They quickly determined that they would need to finish installation with the incorrect panels, then have the correct panels shipped and installed, at no additional charge.
Two weeks later, Greg called to say the correct panels had arrived, and scheduled a time to install them. The door looks great now, the color matches perfectly with the house, and the new door is incredibly smooth and quiet.
I reduced the overall score and professionalism from A to B only because they should have verified that the door was correct before they came out and began installation! But the true mark of an excellent business is in how well they make it right when something goes wrong, and they most certainly did that! I highly recommend them.
Able was prompt, courteous, attentive to my concerns, service oriented, knowledgeable, respectful and his services were reasonable.

"Thank you for your response, we are always looking to improve our service. Our records show that we serviced your garage door and installed a customer provided keyless entry on 11/19/2015. On that date, and before service was provided, you indicated via telephone that you were an Angie's List member looking for the 15% off discount. At the time of service, I provided an Angie's List discount per my advertisement (15% of INITIAL call) and written instructions on how to operate the keyless entry in addition to the manufacturers manual. Three months after this service, you called because you had cleared the programming on the keyless entry. After spending extensive time over the phone walking you through the programming instructions to save you the cost of a service call, you requested that I come to your residence even after I told you the price of the service call. At no time before, during, or immediately after service did you mention or provide an Angie's List coupon. Several hours after this second service call, you called me to ask why I had not discounted your service and I explained that the 15% discount is for INITIAL calls, not repeat customers. However, I do have other coupons on Angie's List for members periodically, but as the ad states "must mention at time of initial call the you found us on Angie's List." I am sorry you were not 100% satisfied with our service. Keeping my customers happy is a priority! I am always willing to work with my clients in order to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction possible."
